"Bought an expensive laptop cover (blue plastic clip on) for my MacBook Air at Virgin. It looked very pretty but did not do the basic job. Cracked at all four corners within 12 months. Now seriously falling apart. An inferior junky product. Speck refused to replace as I asked for a replacement in month 18 after purchase. Look elsewhere for a quality product."
"You cannot cancel an order once it is placed. EVEN if it hasn't been processed or shipped. I paid for two day shipping on a Friday. They didn't process the order until Monday and when I called I got an automated voice that once placed an order can't be canceled or modified.. BOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Ordered a case to Arizona, was delivered to some address in California. Speck is refusing to do anything in terms of sending me another case, despite the tracking information showing that it was delivered to the wrong address. The address is correct on the order form, so why should their shipping mistake cost me a case (which isn't cheap, by the way)? Instead, they are telling me to "wait" until the tracking information is updated. Absolutely ridiculous."
"After purchasing several Speck iPhone Presido Grip cases from Speck as they apparently give “lifetime warranty” on the cases. After only 3 months have passed the cases look cracked discoloured and of extremely poor quality that do not show the US$40- plus price paid for each case! On contacting the so called Speck customer service office, waiting up to 2 weeks for a reply from a person whom communicates as if they have very low intelligence. They eventually after 1 month advise me they will send me replacements. Eventually I receive a tracking order for the shipment. The shipment then is returned to Speck USA as the courier company do not deliver to my area. 2 months later still waiting for the replacement to be received? My advise is STAY AWAY from SPECK Phone cases as they are poor quality and extremely BAD customer service!"

I bought about 7 of their CandyShell cases for myself and my extended family through Amazon. Mine developed a small crack above the dock port about 2 months after I got it (and just after the Amazon return window). I emailed Speck customer service and got a reply from John Catanzaro sayIng that because I bought it from an unauthorized seller through an authorized seller that the case was counterfeit and I could mail the case to them and they would make a final determination and if it was counterfeit they would not return the case to me. What do you think the chances of them copping to it being a real case are??, especially after they trash the evidence.
This company is shady. I would go with a more reputable company!.
On the up side, Amazon, a reputable company made an exception and gave me a refund so I could buy a case from a more reputable manufacturer that will stand behind their products.
I have 5 other Speck cases that were within the return period, they are all being gathered up to be returned tomorrow!"
