I have had a very very bad experience shopping on http://www.sperrytopsider.com
After making a very large purchase of over $400, for my entire family, I received an email that half of my order was out of stock. It appeared that all of the clearance shoes I had ordered were not available. Despite the fact that they still show as in stock on the website and can still be ordered ( 4days after I placed my order) Sperry refuses to change my order or cancel and refund my money. Further more, they will not refund the money for the other shoes which are not in stock , until after I receive the order. If the shoes aren't in stock they should refund my money asap. NOT HOLD ON TO IT!
They are holding the money on my credit card "hostage". Plus my credit card company can not do anything until after they fully charge the purchase ( which they haven't done). One pair of the shoes was ordered for a special event, and now I will have no appropriate shoes! Since they will not refund my money I wont be able to purchase shoes either!
Their customer service is NOT knowledgeable about the products what so ever and were not helpful. Don't waist your time purchasing from this store, and I encourage you not to purchase their products elsewhere.
Furthermore, buy beware their SIZES ARE NOT TRUE TO SIZE! When I brought my daughter to try on shoes of similar styles to what we had ordered the shoes were completely different sizes. I asked why different styles of their shoes would be such different sizes and the customer service rep said I could just send them back (AT MY OWN EXPENSE). It would cost me approximately $40+ to return the order. Possibly more.
