"Refused to accept a return on a motorcycle chain that was too short for my needs. The chain is in the box and never taken out. I was willing to purchase a new set of sprockets and chain...but they refused to make the exchange. JB cycle and Rocky Mountain are always happy to work with their customers. Suggest you use a retailer that actually values customer relations."
"My wife and I have been buying chains and sprockets from Sprocket Center for years and various bikes. Chad at Sprocket Center has always taken care of us and is quick to respond if you have a question or he has a suggestion based on your bike. Never had any problems or issues over the years."
"Ordered a sprocket from them, then received the shipping notification and tracking number. 10 days later I checked the tracking and it shows it's still waiting to be picked up. I emailed asking the status and received "we don't sell those anymore, do you want us to refund the order?"
What an awful business. "
"I have placed orders with Chad several times. Twice I have had them ship to hotels or friends homes in different states. Most recently, I blew a chain on a winter riding trip to see my family in Idaho. Chad boxed and shipped my chain kit immediately and saved my trip. He even included some extra links for my tool kit. Thank you for the great service, Chad. You have a customer for life. "
"Ordered a 15t/45t 520 sprocket and chain/ 112T RK chain (neon green) combo package. Within 5 MINS, they called my phone and let me know that they did not have the 7075-T6 rear sprocket I ordered in stock. They gave me the 520 Super lite rs7 steel sprocket instead, and IMMEDIATELY gave me the 22.00$ refund. (Im cool with that, I couldn't find the steel rear sprocket combo on their website (and steel> aluminum) I'm not super happy that they didn't list (on the website) that it was out of stock, but customer service was exceptional and the shipping time was good. Overall, 8.5/10 for my experience."
"So almost 2 weeks ago (January 24) I placed an order to Sprocket Center for a Superlite sprocket and chain kit. A couple days later I get a call from them informing me that my size rear sprocket was out of stock (44 tooth) and after a few minutes of thinking about it I decided to go a size bigger and get the 45t that was in stock. No big deal. 3 days later the box is at my door and I couldn't be happier so I put the bike on the stands and went to work. Got the chain and rear sprocket on with ease but when I went to install the front sprocket I quickly realized that this is not the right sprocket for my bike. So I just put the old one back on being that they were the same tooth size anyways. At this point I am questioning this company. The next day I call them up and explain the situation and the gentleman on the phone was very reasonable and said he will send the right one out immediately with a paid return envelope for the old one. Now I am a little frustrated but frustration will not solve my problem. 3 days later I get the package and quickly open it. What do i find? A SunStar sprocket. Not the Superlite that I ordered. In a frantic rage I throw it back in the box and storm off. The next day during business hours I call them right up. Tell the guy my last name for the order information and he remembered just who I was. I explain the situation and he tells me "We are out of stock on the superlite for your bike so we sent a different brand as a replacement." I went on to tell him that we both could have saved 3 days of our time by just calling me to tell me whats going on. I mean if I order a gsxr1000 are you going to send me a gsxr600 because you are out of stock on the 1000's? No. I kept my tone calm because I know its not his fault he is just who answers the phone. After a little negotiating he is going to credit me $10 for my inconvenience and I am going to return the old sprocket in the return envelope I was given and I will keep the SunStar because the superlites will not be back in stock for 8 weeks. Never again will I use this company."
"Ordered a chain and sprocket set and the chain arrived too long. It was annotated on order as a certain length but the actual length was more than that. I contacted them and after a few email exchanges I was sent a master link instead of offering to cut my chain or have a replacement sent for swap. I will not be ordering from this company ever again because they have proved to me to be incompetent at resolving legitimate issues. I went out and bought a $50 dremel and have yet to even put this chain on my bike! SMH"
"recent purchase was great.. they corrected my mistake and I am very satisfied with this company.. Chad Jones was very helpful.."
"This is no doubt the best place where you can buy motorcycle sprockets and chains. Shipping was done one day after the order was processed, and the motorcycle chain was cut to fit the custom sprockets ordered. "
"Very friendly and helpful sales reps on the phone, great prices too. Shipping was definitely on the slow side, was a week before my order was actually shipped, closer to two weeks before it arrived. "
