"I purchased a WF-600V External HD Case (V) Covert Wi-Fi Digital Wireless Web Camera with recording & remote access. Shipping was fast arrived in two days. Set up was pretty simple, took about 30 minutes to install. There are a couple of html documents on the cd with some step by step instructions on setting up the camera and router. If your router allows it I do suggest you set a reserved IP for the camera. When I first set it up I let the router dynamically set the IP and if the router re-boots (power failure) I would not always get the same internal IP. Not really a big deal but if you have it bookmarked in IE and 192.168.1.4 becomes 192.168.1.6 you have to redo the bookmark. The range on the WIFI is a lot better then I thought it would be, I have my office in the basement and with the camera in the babies room on the 2nd floor of the house there is no problem connecting. Would definitely recommend this product. "

"On the SCS website I was able to do it all. I admit, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this kind of equipment online but I felt better after being able to research the air purifier hidden cam, complete with sample video and all specs. I was easily able to place my order online and was rewarded with standard ground UPS at no additional cost. Much to my surprise, the item shipped the next day and I had it on my front steps in less than 3 days.
After testing the product, I couldn't be happier. The workmanship is top-notch and the camera delivers everything promised. I did test the unit at night and could see a very faint red light glow through the housing of the purifier, but that was easy enough to fix by opening it and putting a small square of electrical tape over the light. If I need more equipment, I most certainly will use them again. "

The following is my quick report on a Black Box 6 w/LCD, and Snake Camera upgrade.
The purchase date (9/3/2011) and my delayed reply (1/21/2012) allowed me sufficient time to experience the behavior of this device over time.
My initial impression was that the small DVR presents itself very well - is definitely a nice item and exhibits quality. The rubberized-like casing (exterior) is reminiscent of my earlier Thinkpad and current Alienware laptops – both “top drawer” items.
Like many electronic devices, the unit has a quirk and requires an occasional reset or boot. I do this simply by unplugging it (cold); and after ~ a few seconds, restart. This condition is manifested by the inability to exit “motion detection” and the DVR is stuck on continuous record – indicated by “REC.”
The recorded video when shown (in a much larger format) on the computer screen - is considerably grainier, as expected; although details (like faces) are still easily discernible and definition is quite good – even with minimal lighting.
My final, bottom-line assessment?: I would buy another (and may).
I've only had limited experience with CS/Support, and it was positive – including the exchange and upgrade of cameras. If assistance is needed, a call is answered promptly sans circuitous voicemail.
