Good worth it

"The furniture I got 2 years again started to rip off at the seam when contacted they replaced with the original price. Offcourse that’s no longer at the same price now but still better than nothing. Would definitely suggest for purchases."

Misleading info that was turned around by Customer Service

"My initial interactions with Allstate (Square Trade), were very friendly, professional and helpful. They explained the process to replace my broken phone. In fact, they sent me the replacement phone over night (after paying the $129 deductible on my phone). Sadly, that phone did not work either. After calling them about THIS phone, they explained the 'procedure' for sending the phone back. I needed to have someone look at it and render it 'beyond economic repair'. This was done. Again, VERY nice customer service. When I asked if they were refunding the $129 deductible for the phones, I was told that was a processing fee, but that they would send me the replacement cost of my original phone where I could purchase one myself.
After pleading my case with a Square Trade CS manager, they agreed to refund the $129 deductable as well as the replacement cost. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the resolution of my claim.

Samsung s23 ultra repair

"Front screen was cracked badly. Couldn't access most phone features.
Repair was expedited easily and quickly by Allstate. The repair was done same day by a local shop (CPR). Monthly subscription first is reasonable. Deductible was fair. Great to have the peace of mind.

A really good deal

"Our LG Washer began leaking and would not stop until we turned off the water supply. We contacted Allstate / Square Trade and they made arrangements for a technician to come out and diagnose (maybe repair) the problem. He found the cause and noted that the leak had damaged other parts of the washer as well - he reported it to Square Trade to await the next steps. It all took place shortly before Christmas and during the holidays (we also had travel plans to visit my wife's family) so timing was critical. Anyway, before we had returned Square Trade had analyzed the situation and notified us we would be refunded the cost of the washing machine because the washer was considered irreparable.
We were not expecting that! That was terrific! We have since bought a new LG washer from Costco along with another product insurance plan from Allstate. We are hopeful (and confident - the washer got high marks from Consumer Reports and Wire-Cutter) that nothing will go wrong with this new washer. But we know that if something does go wrong, we're covered!
