"Comparing travel insurance providers was easy, except for two companies. Booking was quick and easy. Reading the reviews helped me a lot. The confusion was, understanding the ratings, when comparing Travelex to Berkshire Hathway. Berkshire Hathaway is the underwriter for Travelex Insurance. However, when comparing companies, Travelex had a much better rating and reviews than the Berkshire Hathaway company. If the claims for Travelex are going through Berkshire, I would have expected similar ratings. For my trip, I could have received MORE in coverage for less money, by using Berkshire, however based solely on the Squaremouth ratings, I went with Travelex, although I got less coverage and paid more. Additionally, when I googled various sites, Travelex was recommended more often than the underwriter, Berkshire. "
