"I called the parts department on Thursday January 18 to price Toyota 0w20 oil. The guy that answered the phone told me it was $8.69 per quart. I got looking around online and saw I could order it online at a discount and pick it up at the dealership parts department, so I did. The next day I get an email from the dealership and they tell me they only have Toyota 0w20 oil in bulk containers they use in the service department. So I guess if I want to change the oil in my 2017 myself, I can’t buy Toyota oil for it from this dealership!!"
"I ordered two parts from this dealership. One of the parts evidently was not available. I am only assuming this because the other part arrived and my credit card company informed me of a credit in the amount of the other part. I have yet to receive any email from this dealer regarding this order and its partial fulfillment let alone the amount charged and if it now included a shipping charge due to the other part not being available.
Let me explain how it should have been done due to a similar experience with another Toyota dealership. That dealership sent me an email explaining one of the parts in my order was currently unavailable and Toyota was being notified so future shoppers would be aware when attempting to purchase it. They also asked how they should proceed with the order allowing me the option to cancel it or proceed with the part they did have in stock. Additionally, they assured me my partial order would still be shipped for free even though the order now did not reach the $75 threshold because one of the parts was unavailable.
THAT'S how it's done and I should have had the same experience with this dealership, but sadly did not. I hope in providing this feedback adjustments in processing partial orders and communications with their customers will improve."
