"Stewart MacDonald gets a 1.5. Can't ship a knob"
"I placed an order on Sunday for $300 with StewMac, the website said that the items where in stock. On Tuesday my order hasn't shipped, so I requested to cancel the order at 9 AM on Tuesday, as I needed the items right away. By 5 PM on Tuesday, no one had answered my emails. At 5:08 PM I got an automated email stating that my order had shipped. I tracked the order on the shippers website and the Items were not in their possession. On Wednesday, I tracked the order again and the shipper had not received the items. I have emailed StewMac 6 times with no replay from them. Because of the terrible communication, lack of care and just plain terrible, customer service, I have called my CC company to get my money back. If the items show up, I will tell the driver to send them back. Shame on you StewMac! We won't be doing business again. And another thing, I found the pickups for $50 less on the Fender website.
Update: on Wednesday, the tacking # they sent me says that USPS is waiting for the item. Clearly, they printed the label but they have not shipped my order, and no response from StewMac to my emails.
Tip for consumers:
You can't cancel an order, you can't call them on the phone, they print a shipping label to make believe that the order has shipped when it has not, they don't answer your emails."
"I ordered an Item on 11/27/20. The item was "shipped"11/30. It never shipped. I've complained. They told me they would ship it again November 4th if it didn't move along on tracking with USPS. It's November 5th and it did not ship. I have attempted contacting them multiple times on the 4th and 5th. No response. No Item. I don't recommend this company.

They took my email addy off my correspondence to make purchases and used that to put me on their list.
Don't they know they have to get permission to do that?
I wonder if the people in charge there know this is being done?

"I tried to place a simple text 1-star review on a product they sell. Only commas and periods and no links. When I clicked submit I was redirected to a page-not-found broken link.
Thinking this was maybe a server issue I waited then tried again. Same experience. After 4 attempts I contacted StewMac. The customer support replied that their tech department was working on the issue.
Suspicious this excuse was not true I did a test by posting a similar post only this time giving 5 stars and the post was published live immediately.
I then tried for a 5th and 6th time to post my 1 star review and again was redirected to a page-not-found broken link
I complained a 2nd time to StewMac. This time they did not address my complaint at all. Instead I received a lengthy and irrelevant explanation of how their review process works and saying there is no guarantee my 1 star review will get posted
By blocking 1 star reviews for the products they sell StewMac is misleading customers into believing the products they sell are higher quality and have better reliable than they really do thereby boosting sales"
"My first time ordering from StewMac was an excellent experience. I had a few questions that were promptly answered in full. My order was shipped the day it was placed. It was actually shipped. It wasn't the annoying "shipping information was sent but not really shipped" type of shenanigans. I received everything I ordered in 2 days. StewMac does it proper."

Not only WILL I shop there again, I continue to shop their whenever I need parts and pieces, cool tools, etc.
