"I purchased a round rack for my boutique. The package was a complete mess when it arrived. Box was damaged and tools were not in the box. I overlooked it because the item arrived the following day after placing my order.
We started putting together the rack only to find multiple paint scratches and some rust around one of the legs.

"I ordered a RTA (ready to assemble) display case that arrived very promptly. Unfortunately, the base pieces were not included in the shipment. They sent a package out within three days, but it was duplicate parts of what I already had received, not the correct part. The correct part arrived 15 days after the original shipment. To their credit, everyone I talked to at the company was extremely nice and helpful. The case was purchased for a small city museum to hold historical artifacts and pictures.
As far as putting the case together: They sent an email with a link to a YouTube showing a person assembling the case with a narration. It went super fast. I would have liked some close-up shots of the tricky parts. I have put together many other RTA products and this was the the only one that did not include drawings and/or schematics identifying the pieces that should have been included or step-by-step diagrams for reference. For example, there were three types of screws included, but no mention of when and where to use which screws. When the video referenced pieces by name, it would have been nice to have a drawing of or a label on that particular piece.
I had a few problems assembling the unit: One of the corner posts that hold the glass was slightly bent, but fortunately for me, the box of duplicate parts they sent included another set of those posts. Also, the foam pieces to be put in the bottom of the grooves that hold the glass were too wide for the groove and the adhesive stuck to the sides of the groove before the piece could settle on the bottom. I found that trimming them first and attaching them to the glass worked much better. Some of the screw holes were not lined up good enough for the metal corner posts and the posts that hold the shelf brackets. Again, having the duplicate parts box saved the day because some of the extra pieces lined up better than others. The video did show putting the back sliding door in the track before attaching the center back posts that holds the shelf brackets. It went so fast that I initially missed that step and couldn't figure out why the door wouldn't go in. Consequently, I had to remove the center post (just when I thought I was so close to being done) and put it all back together again. It would have been nice to have the narrator emphasis why that step was important. However, doing it their way makes the inside sliding door unremovable without also removing the center bracket support post.
It took two of us about 2 1/2 hours to put it together, then another half hour to fix the back sliding door issue. I think we could have done it much quicker with better instructions or not having to start and stop the video multiple times. The person on the video went very fast with the camera on a tripod several feet away. I do like the finished product and it will work perfectly for its intended use."
