"!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!

Similar situation to many others...ordered a product, payment was made, and no product was ever shipped. After trying to resolve and be understanding, they also refused to refund my payment. I highly suggest you do not do business with this company. In short, the have committed theft.

"Be very careful with these guys- they were involved with and took over the scam company RealDealGuns. I placed an order with them, and they took my money and never sent the item. Beware of companies with poor ratings. Order from them at your own risk..."

"LOOKS LIKE I AM ANOTHER VICTIM! I ordered an item they listed as "in stock" on April 24, 2013. My CC was charged right away. As of May 28, 2013, I have contacted them 3 times by email. Clearly, there is some sort of program that gives you an automated response that assigns "case number", but it never moves forward from there. I currently have 3 case numbers pending, the last of which I requested them to call me.

They have a number posted for you to call, but it does not work. They have a FAX number also, and I am sending a FAX as we speak. But I'm pretty sure I am out $80.

I routinely make purchases online and do not have problems. This is clearly a person working out of their garage or basement. And can't keep up with their inventory or orders.

"Ordered some items listed as "in-stock". After the requested 10 day wait (which was not listed on the page when I ordered, only in the later email), I contacted support and was told that they were expecting the item two days later (so 12 days after I ordered the "in-stock" product, they thought they might get it). I requested cancellation, as I had already waited long enough. Was promised a refund. Didn't happen. So I updated the support ticket, no answer. Updated ticket again, auto-response saying the ticket was being escalated because it was never answered. No refund. Received an email from them stating that their support system had been "upgraded", if I had filed a recent ticket, I would need to refile. Refiled, only auto-responses from then on. Never shipped, never refunded.
Don't ever attempt to do business with this company.

"Hey everyone. I bought my Leupold Scope and rings from these guys and got a good price and I had it shipped the same day that I ordered it and received it in two days. I have bought things since then and never had a problem at all. I love working with StormLake Tactical. They are always adding new products and are very knowledgeable about the products that they sell."

"I placed an order for an "in stock" item in December. That same day my account was charged. Fast forward five months later I still have a charged account and no items to show for it. Numerous times I emailed Stormlake and occasionally they responded. Most times it was with excuses. The first was about snow storms, then it was about the gun craze slowing the warehouse. Months later they stated the items were back ordered (funny how they didn't mention that back in December) but I would receive my order soon as the order previous to mine was just shipped. Another month of waiting and nothing. I kept inquiring but Stormlake never communicated back. In April I canceled my order. Now it is May and I still have not gotten a refund. Stormlake is no longer responding to my emails and no one ever answers the phone let alone the live chat on the website.

"Sorry you three had a bad experience. I on the other hand had a great experience with them. I ordered a VooDoo Tactical backpack and I also ordered a Streamlight TLR-1 light. They communicated with me great, and they shipped within 24 hours and I had it on my doorstep in less than 3 days. Plus they were the cheapest around and their entire site was free shipping. With the way that the gun industry is right now, lots of resellers and manufacturers are behind but I did not experience that at all with StormLake Tactical. They were very professional and efficient with fulfilling my order."

"I placed an order on December 21st. The product stated in stock. After a couple day I noticed they were not shipping. I contacted them and they told me the products were on back order. They assured me I would have the products at my door in three weeks. I told they they charged my cc already. They stated you used paypal and that is out of our hands.

Because it was hard to get items I thought 3 weeks not a big deal. Three weeks go by and nothing. I call them and they said they were having issues with the manufacturer and they would be shipped out tuesday.

Tuesday nothing. Couple more weeks go by and nothing. I call them and I cant get through to a real person. Couple more weeks go by with no contact. Finally I got a hold of them. They said the manufacturer got a hold of them and ill have the products tuesday.

So i waited......tuesday nothing.

Now it is the middle of march 4 months later. I have been trying to cancel my order for a couple weeks now and not heard anything.

So If you want really bad service and want to throw 500 bucks away order from storm lake tactical.

"I'm only doing this to save another poor soul time and money! On 02/14 placed an order for an item that showed 3 in stock. A week goes by,no notification of any type. I call them on 02/20,no live person, only a voice message. They responded the same day with an email saying that "they are looking into the order". On 02/22 they sent an email saying "they were going to ship on 02/25". On 02/25 they sent another email saying that there was a "snow storm and would ship out all orders within 24-48 hrs". On 03/01, I sent 2 emails asking when item was going to ship? If not, that I told them I was going to notify my CC company, simple question. At this point I was furious as I could have ordered this item elsewhere. On 3/04, I called the cc company, spent an hour with them on my lunch break. On 03/10, SLT sent another email on with the same canned response! Oh yes, last joke, on 03/06, they sent an email asking me to participate in their customer loyalty program? Last email was on 03/14, same canned response since day one! Go elsewhere,I did."

"I have been searching for a particular tactical style stock for my Mossberg 500 shotgun. I visited every website in the top 10 pages of results on Google, and ALL of them had the item on backorder. Stormlaketactical.com website showed 934 on hand. I emailed them to verify they did actually have the item in stock.
Their reply was: "These are in stock. Our inventory is updated every hour. Thank you. - StormLake Tactical Support Team"

Since they assured me they had it on hand I placed my order. This was on a Thursday evening (Jan 31). Friday comes and the order status is changed to "Awaiting Shipment". I am a little puzzled because you could interpret this as the item is waiting to be shipped to me, or that they are waiting for inventory to fill my order...

So I email them asking for an ETA and got no response. I finally got a response today (Feb 5th) after sending 5 messages via email and their onsite messaging system. The reply was: "I just got word that is not shipping until monday sir. SOrry for the delay. The distributor that we use for that had a bad inventory feed on it and it reflected wrong in our inventory as we have them drop ship it for us sir. Thank you for your patience."

I did my research before shopping with StormLake Tactical to make sure they were reputable. I found only one review online, and it was buried deep within a forum. The review said that they don't keep anything on hand, they only drop ship items, and they give excuse after excuse as to why they can't fill your order. That review seems to be confirmed in the message from StormLake in regards to my order.

I suggest you take your business elsewhere, you'll save yourself some heartache. I have requested a refund and given them a deadline before I issue a chargeback on my card.
