"My order was this:
Martin Unpackaged Electric Guitar Strings - Nickel Light Gauge 10-13-17-26-36-46 $1.87x48=$89.76
Martin Unpackaged Singles - Electric Plain Steel - .010 $0.44x48=$21.12
String Storage Tube $7.99
The strings are shipped straight in nice long blue nylon bags.
The string storage tube is made of nice shiny black plastic with one plastic end and one rubber end. I find the tube a bit overpriced. You can do it on your own buying parts from a diy store - it is just a 2-inch thick tube.
Excellent service. Will buy again if I have the chance."
"I use Elixir strings on my acoustic guitars. While Elixir strings last a long time because the coating provides excellent rust resistance, they are very expensive, especially for a twelve-string guitar.
After doing some searching and price comparisons online, I found StringThis.com. The price for the strings was the best I found online or in stores. I also calaculated the shipping charges easily to discover that with Priority shipping via the US Post Office, the strings were still the best vale I could find. In addition, I liked that the store didn't inflate the shipping charge, as some stores do.
The best part: I placed the order late Thursday evening/early Friday morning, and I had the strings in my mailbox on Monday! The store also communicated quickly through e-mail. As soon as I purchased the strings, I received a confirmation e-mail about my order. Then, as soon as the string shipped, I also received an e-mail.
I'm impressed. I don't know how this place can keep charges down and customer service up, but somehow the company has found the right formula. I will happily do business with StringThis.com again."
