Now the meh: Received the rear seat protectors in a square box which meant they had to be bent to fit. Left them in the car with something on top of them to flatten them out, but it seems it would have been better if they were packed flat. There were no instructions but there was a link to the Subaru site where it asked I enroll in order to download a manual! Not thanks, but thank you YouTube!

"Today Tuesday 9-10-2024 I found that the spare wheel hoist would lower the spare tire assembly. Raise it? No so I had to jack up the assembly to raise it so that the wire would retract.
Local Columbus, OH Subaru dealer was of no help so I found you guys on the internet at a good price.

"I ordered a gas cap, as my former one was too loose and caused the check engine light to turn on. That former cap appeared okay, but a telling sign was that it would come off as soon as it wasn't snug. Normally, the cap is supposed to have a little give to it. Another pretty clear sign was that the cap would only tighten with its text oriented upside down. And the check engine light would turn on about halfway thru the fuel, which pointed to a gas cap issue rather than some tiny crack causing the light to turn on.
This cap is working well so far. However, you should know that you need to carefully remove the black circular piece that attaches the former gas cap's tether to the tank door; you otherwise won't be able to remove the former gas cap. And then you'll want to reuse it for the replacement gas cap. A mechanic offered to do that for free; it took them 1 minute. But you do need some fine motor skills to avoid damaging that black circular piece. Granted, worst case is needing to hold the gas cap after removing it. And the circular piece is very cheap.
But Subaru Parts Wholesale should have a note that the circular attachment connecting the tether to the tank door is not included."
