"No sense of urgency from Customer Service."
"Horrible shipping times and poor customer service. E-mails take forever to be returned, and they didn't attempt to ship my order until after I called, and asked them to cancel it. It should not take a week and several phone calls to get an order shipped. I'll continue buying thier products, just not through them."
"I ordered Swiftech's newest cpu water block (mcw6002-a) and I must say I am extremely pleased with the product and service. I placed my order on Thursday, it was processed and shipped on the next day.
A very mild issue was that UPS did not notify me (they have taken up the habit of stealth shipping it seems) that I had a package on the way and I wrote an email on the following Thursday (1 week after order) to Swiftnet enquiring as to the status of my purchase thinking that it hadn't been shipped yet.
Not 5 minutes later Michelle at Swiftech sent me the UPS tracking number informing me it had been sent already, sure enough UPS arrived about an hour later.
Michelle had also been prompt and informative about some questions I had had earlier before placing my order.
Kudos to Swiftech for product and service. Boo to UPS stealth shipping (I like to know where my stuff is)

"I've ordered the 8501 kit for a P4 system from Swiftech, and while I haven't received the product yet, I do have a few comments to post that may assist others in ordering from this company...
At the time I placed my order, the CC billing was processed post haste, confirmation was sent, along with assurances of notification and UPS tracking number being forthcoming once the items ordered were shipped. Two days later, I had yet to receive same, so I contacted the name given on their website with an inquiry about the order. Some time later, having yet to see either shipping information or reply to my inquiry, I called them directly. The person who I spoke with shared the same name of the contact for emails, incidentally. I identified myself, provided the order number, and inquired as to an expected shipping date. This is when I was told that two items on my order were not available, and were expected the latter part of the month, or the first week of the following month. I was somewhat set back by this information, as I had ordered the items for an installation I had scheduled... This presented problems, as the materials needed were payed for by the client. My oversight...
I understand full well the aspects of supply and demand, but am left somewhat wondering about these practices. True, it is suggested that one order from resellers, however, there is no mention whatsoever in the online catalog about availability or expected delivery dates of items listed for sale. It would seem a simple enough thing if one is running an online purchasing service to incorporate some method of alerting potential buyers as to whether or not the product is in stock. I was able to offset the irritation of my client by installing an alternate water cooling system, however, I will be waiting the shipment of the products ordered in lieu of payment for my services. I only hope that the product, once in hand, will serve to compensate for aggravations incurred. Swiftech has a good reputation, and I've personally used some of their air-cooled products in the past. One would think that such a product source would have equal online quality... As it stands, I'd not recommend ordering directly, but instead, from another online supplier, assuming the product is in stock there, either...
Update: Upon contacting Michelle once more regarding the credit made to my account in the amount of the charge, I was informed that the charge was still pending, and, that the items might be shipped today or tomorrow. I just received my tracking number, and expect delivery this coming Monday. Needless to say, my opinion has improved tremendously, and I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Michelle for her part in things... I stand by my previous opinion of their online stock availability and ETA assessment, those in the business of selling online *should* offer these features as a part of the service.
2nd Update: I received my order on the day expected after the delays, and was extremely impressed with the product. Nothing short of outstanding! The detail and care that have obviously gone into it make it well worth not only the unexpected wait, but worth the price as well. Each waterblock is meticulously fit and finished, no problems were encountered in getting things to fit properly, and once installed, the system works flawlessly, it's been running now for nearly a week using the system, and I have had no problems whatsoever with it to date. Instructions included are concise, and it comes with everything you would need to complete the installation. Very nice!
Kudos to those at Swiftech overall. After getting the order, and examining it, I can begin to understand why there were delays. A product of this quality must take time to produce."
"First, let me say that Swiftech merchandise is awesome. I only use Swiftech water blocks and pumps. I do have a problem with ordering directly from Swiftech, however. Their priority is not on providing products to individual customers. They do not guarantee that an item is in stock or when an ordered item might ship. The only way to find out is to ask via email. I recently cancelled an order to Swiftech. After waiting 2 weeks I then found out that the items I wanted were STILL backordered and I would have to wait even longer. BOTTOM LINE: Order Swiftech products from your favorite online reseller. There are a few very specialized items that you may have to go directly to Swiftech to purchase. In that case, be ready to be patient."
"Took a bit longer for a responce than expected. But as with any business, each has their own style and speed for turn-around time on orders. Very satisfied with product, and although I could have bought from a distributor, I entrusted the manufacturer. I'm happy with this purchase, and would buy again."
"I needed to get a replacement gasket for my MCW462. Since the gaskets are flat they could easily go out in a padded envelope as regular mail. They're only $1.50 each so paying for courier shipping to Canada would have cost so much more than the 2 gaskets I wanted. I emailed Swiftech and Michelle saw to it that the gaskets were shipped to me regular mail, saving me needless expense. Great product, great staff, great service."
"I ordered a MCW50-T™ VGA Thermoelectric assy on the 8th. I sent a email on the 17 asking for an update on this item as I have heard nothing and asked if I could even pick it up since I am local. No reponse. Again I send an email and this time I get a email stating that they do not allow willcalls and that they are out of the housing for this unit!!!!!! Now, why did they not inform me of this before? Why not a email? Why not mention this on their website? Very unprofessional and not what I am accustomed to.
So far very dissatisifed, but will update my rating depending on the resolution.

"I bought an MCW-50T & MCW-5000A from SwiftTech along with some Hydra-x coolant and tubing. I received an order confirmation the next day, and my stuff less than 2 days later. Now, I live less than 10 miles away from the company, but still appreciate the quickness of their service. I guess I just wouldn't have too far to go to stick my foot up someone's arse if my stuff didn't get to my house pretty quick. Fortunately for everyone involved, that didn't have to be done. My things arrived quickly, packaged in a secure manner, and everything included all the little fasteners and stuff that I would need to install their stuff in my system. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. These guys are first rate, the quality of their service is only surpassed by the quality of their gear. "
"Best cooling products you can buy, bar none. Very responsive to email questions, and even if you can't get them on the phone, they will call you back the same day."
"Ooops. I didn't think to check here before I ordered directly from the manufacturer. I figured that it was fool-proof. Well, I just ordered the bare MCX462+ and I hope it gets here within 4 weeks. I understand being slow, but if it doesn't ship in 4 weeks, that's a little ridiculous. Please God, don't make me have to come back in here and complain!
Update: Well, I found one somewhere else cheaper (that I knew would ship in a day or two) and so I immediately sent them an e-mail cancelling the order. Mind you, this was no more than 3 hours after making the order in the first place. Well, the next morning, they told me that they shipped my product already, so I figured I was stuck with two of them now. But, today, two days later, they sent me an e-mail telling me to just refuse shipment and they will credit my account when they get it back. That sounds good to me. Not dissatisfied at all."
"How does this company stay in business??? I ordered a MCW50 from Swiftech. After five (5) days of not receiving a tracking number, I emailed Swiftech with order number and asked, When will order ship? After the ninth (9th) day of no reply I emailed a second time to cancel order. I quickly received a response saying that order had already shipped. I replied to that email that I would be happy to accept order and not cancel if, indeed the order had shipped and requested he produce the tracking number. Gabriel Rouchon (President/CEO) replied to the tracking number request. He finally admitted that the order had not shipped. He told me I had to call him (long distance) to cancel order. (Why could he not have just credited the CC number he originally charged???) I made the call to Swiftech and spent 10 minutes listening to him, fumble around, looking for the order. He said his secretary usually takes care of this. (Does this happen so often that one employee specializes in order cancellations?) Overclocking products are targeted at people who want to go faster. It appears that I am not the only person commenting about the S-L-O-W service from Swiftech, which bring me back to my original question... How does this company stay in business???"
"This is the 2nd item I have ordered from Swiftech and they are slooooooooooooooow. Been 10 days with this order and no word on when it'll ship. It was 3 weeks for the other item I ordered last year. If you can avoid using them, I would."
