"Swimsuit arrived quickly. It was a beautiful color -- just what I wanted. But it looked very small.
Tried it on. Only got it to my knees when I knew it was never going over me hips. Carefully removed it and measured across the suit at the waist. It was 8 inches from side to side! Looked at the size chart for size 16 body measurements, There was no way that suit fabric would stretch to fit 43 inch hips! I had even ordered up one size. Either the suit was incorrectly tagged as size 16 when manufactured or the size charts on the website are ridiculous. I returned the suit today and I think I should get a full refund."
"I've bought multiple times, but also made number of returns, since there's no way try on suits to deyermine appropriate size & fit. I've had no problem with returns except costs do add up when trying to find a suit. Someone young & shapely is a much better candidate for their bathing suits.
"Granny" and fashion statement suits would keep me from getting arrested for indecent exposure, but I need cross-backs with more coverage fore and aft for my daily IM laps. "

"I am an 80 year old women in good swimming shape but with the expanded mid body spread. It is very hard to find a swim suit that is a regular athletic style....no cups. Therefore I need a suit size 40 or larger. That is what I ordered and I hope it fits!"

"Let me start with the bad. OMG, there's so much to chose from it's hard to make up your mind on what to buy. Well, I made my choice and the wife's suit was too small...my bad. And the good, I contacted customer service and they instructed me to do the return for a store credit then buy the right size....easy peesy! If you can't find it here, you won't find it anywhere!!!

"They have a good selection of items, including items not readily available elsewhere. Their prices are usually lower than at local stores or Amazon, even if you include the shipping charge for small orders.
Fulfillment is their weak spot. I placed my order on the evening of the 2nd, which was a Friday. I received a confirmation email that same day. They say "SwimOutlet orders placed by 6 PM EST are shipped from our fulfillment center the same business day", so it should have shipped on Monday the 5th. I received an email on the 4th saying my order had shipped, but FedEx says they only printed a label on the 4th, and printing a label is not the same as shipping. FedEx seems to have gotten the package on the 6th, a day later than promised and two days later than they said they shipped it. That's not much, but it's still missing their self-imposed deadline. The package is now in the hands of FedEx, which doesn't expect to deliver it until the 11th. That's faster than Pony Express could have gotten it here, but not by lot.
I received two emails on the 4th. The first was the one claiming my order had shipped, and the second said I should hurry and order one of items because it was selling out. That was an item the first email told me had already shipped. Some parts of their systems are not communicating well with each other.
Why all this in a review instead of just contacting SwimOutlet? Well, only two of my items are showing as shipped, with no indication of why not or when they might be. Because of that and the "order the item you've already ordered" email, I decided I should ask them what was going on. I went to the "Live Chat Available 24/7" page and started a chat. After a long wait, it told me that no agents were available and I should send email. So I sent email using their web form. That was a few days ago, and no reply yet. Contacting them through their web site isn't effective.
Conclusion: excellent selection, good prices, poor shipping and customer service. They'd have gotten 5 stars if they had filled the order as expected.
