"These people are a rip off !!! Stay away"

"Really bad experience with this site. Automatic charge for joining even though this not detailed in the process. When you inquire they indicated the intent to charge was in small print on page. Contacted site and got a live chat which ask me to send a refund form and a check would be sent with one week. That didn't happen. I inquire again to live chat and only then did they say I qualified for a immediate refund and may take up to 6-10 days to show on my credit card."

"Very unpleasant experience. I did not see any sign-up fee posted. The only mention of any cost was that I would get 300 free bids if I registered right away. When I hit the registration button I received a notice that my payment was processsed successfully! Then I immediately went to my online bank statement and sure enough, my account was charged $159.00 within seconds! I called only to find out that the only way I could speak to someone was through the online chat system. They refused to credit my account unless I go to another site, print out the request for refund form, fill it out, mail it in, and only after 3-4 weeks would I see a refund, if "approved!" After being told I was alread speaking to a supervisor and my bank attempting to contact them for a conference call did Swipeauction offer to refund 1/2 the cost. The best they could do was to issue an automatic refund that will take 5 - 7 days to be received back into my account. Why "could they NOT" issue an immediate full refund, especially since they immediatelly could withdraw my funds? This business was advertised as an E-bay type online auction. In my opinion, they are definately not in anyway comparable to E-bay, or even in the same league! "
