Then I got an email saying I return the wrong lock and they will not refund my money. I told them I would send them the broken lock also to prove they were mistaken. They will not accept these terms. "I had to find tie bar guides for a monument window. The company is out of business and could not find them at local hardware stores or the big box chain stores. I randomly came across Swiss.com on my Google feed and was shocked when they had something almost identical. They were only 90 cents apiece so I ordered six. With shipping it came to $12. Took 2 days to get them and they fit just right. Great experience and I would definitely use them again.

I explained what I wanted and what products I picked to this.
She asked for pictures, reviewed them and indicated that I was wrong. That was hard to swallow but I went with her suggestion on which product, and it worked perfect.

NOT FAIR By rights I should be refunded the return shipping. I'm not asking for that. Because it was my fault for not checking out the company in the first place. "Placed an order online for a bunch or window balancers and supporting items. Some time after the order was placed, they called to let me know that they no longer had 2 of the items that I ordered but suggested that another part could work. He needed to check inventory and call me back and never did. Hours later I called back to find out what was happening as I needed these items urgently and he told me that they did have the inventory for the other part but that I now had to place a separate order and pay the shipping again and now the shipping was double. Had this been handled properly, this could have all been shipped together and not double charged on the shipping. Hardware send on 2nd order incorrect size
1st order of Item# 38-139 I ordered on my phone and upon arrival noticed it did NOT comes with the self tapping screws nor did it come with the backing plate. So it was totally useless. I emailed their support and they pointed out these parts were sold separately. So I went back online and noticed on the desktop version it clearly showed these parts were separate. (The mobile version has this in the description at the bottom). I placed a second order.
2nd order - The hardware arrived to install the part I got on the first order. The two screws they charged me 56 cents for are 3/8" long. Not long enough for me to install. Honestly not long enough for really anyone to install. The back plate is 1/8" thick and the self tapping cut out takes up 1/8". The only install this would work in is if the back plate sits flush. Even then you'd have only 1/8" of grab. Turn out I have an 1/8" space in my windows. The screw doesn't reach. I have since gone online and purchased longer screws in order to get this installed.
Bottom line - Why this company chooses to not include CORRECT hardware that cost literally pennies is beyond me. "
