"Avoid SysQs.com they are a dishonest seller! They list items at low prices, take your money, but don't ship. Their claimed inventory numbers appear to be completely fake.

You can get a refund if you pursue them, but in the meantime they have your money for a month.

Also notice that items show at one price on their store site but come up at much higher price in your cart. They also try to hide an inflated insurance charge to your purchase amount.

Their web store has buttons for contacting them and live help, but the buttons - just like the inventory - are all fake.

"Site indicated that they ship via UPS, but they used USPS and so the address they shipped to returned the item. They refused to resend and didn't refund the shipping fees. Be very careful, they'll leave you hanging if they can."

"I ordered 14 CDs / DVDs from them via EBay, and they wanted to charge me $6.99 for each one separately. It is now May 16th and they keep sending me invoices. They have so far refused to reduce the shipping charges. I have complained to Ebay and have been getting nowhere. "

"Terrible customer service! Emailed them less than twenty four hours after placing my order to cancel it (wrong item), during working hours. Took an entire day for them to get back to me, their response: "Please be informed that your Order has already been submitted to our warehouse for the Shipment and hence, we will not be able to cancel your order at this moment. Shipment details will be emailed the day after the order has been processed. You can return back the Item after you received it. A 35% Restocking fees will apply. Shipping & Handling charges will be non refundable. Thank you "

So, the order has not been processed, but they still cannot cancel it? Their restocking fee, 35% is outrageous, the typical restocking fee is 20% max. And I still have not been notified about shipment, even though I ordered it expedited shipping.

"Never buy from again. It's been 10 days since purchase and still haven't recieved anything. Said they didn't have it in stock and 2 days later said that my item was shipped. Paid exra for the Priority Shipping. Doesn't take 10 days!!!! Don't buy unless you want something a month later. Still waiting for mine!!!!"

"Ordered a DVD for teaching purposes on 1/7. Website said it was in stock when I checked out. Was emailed on 1/11 that this item was "temporarily unavailable" and that they were going to check their "secondary warehouses" to see if it was in stock anywhere else (just like a previous reviewer). I actually was in need of the item that week to use in my classroom, so I emailed them and told them to stop checking for it, because I was now going to have to find the DVD elsewhere and pay extra shipping charges to have it overnighted to my school. They responded that they "didn't do the returns side" of the ordering process - that the warehouse took care of that - and so I would have to "be patient" while they took care of it. It is now 1/20 and I've not been refunded my money, nor did they ever ship me a DVD.

Also, on 1/3 I ordered a different DVD from them that still, on 1/20, has not arrived.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. Terrible service, slow shipping, and a website that does not accurately reflect the status of their stock.

"Ordered a DVD box set that was listed as in stock. They charged my credit card before they sent out the item.

Three days later, they contacted me via e-mail to say that it was out of stock and that they were trying to source it from their "secondary" warehouses.

It is now December 19th, and the status of my order is that it was refunded on the 18th of December. I am currently waiting for my credit card online activity to be updated with the information.

edit: My card has been refunded without any e-mail/contact from Sysq. They are honest, however they do need to work on notifications of order cancellations.
