"Do NOT ever buy anthing from TTA Direct!! Their business practices are sub-par. Their customer service is even more inferior. After placing an order for an item that was supposedly in stock, I am still waiting for any type of order status. It has been 8 days and the item has not shipped. I have sent repeated e-mails to their customer service department only to get the same "canned" response stating that they will e-mail me when the order is going to ship. Their call center has proven to be extremely inaccessable with short hours, clogged lines, and no weekend availability. In short, they appear to have no desire to help their customers. "

On 2 June 2003, I ordered an Emerson EVC1500 Video System Converter (NTSC to PAL)from ttadirect via Amazon.com. The seller immediately charged my account and agreed to ship by 04-Jun-2003. By 19 June 2003, having not received the item, I e-mailed ttadirect asking for an estimated delivery date. On 20 June 2003, They sent me back an e-mail stating "we had one left on the shelp and it appears to be damaged and we will not ship out a damaged item. Your order has been cancelled and your refund has been placed." I was disappointed that I had to e-mail them to find this out, and that they had cancelled the order without informing me, but was glad they did not send out a known faulty part. (If this is the truth???) The refund amount they quoted was $1.10 less than they had charged my account, I sent an e-mail asking them to please correct this discrepency that same day. I have not received the refund and have sent follow-up request for the refund on 2 July 2003, and 21 July 2003 with absolutely not response. Amazon.com should sever all relations with this business immediately or risk tarnishing their good repution."
