"Since we started, it feels like the school is getting consistently worse as our children aged up. This past year has been the worst for after-school, with consistent issues with bullying in the classroom. Additionally, for a school named “Tutor Time,” it’s surprising that there’s limited focus on allowing school age children to complete their homework. Also, most of their homework is now computer-based, and we’re consistently told the Wi-Fi doesn’t work or is unavailable for school age children to use for their homework."
"There has been a lot of staff turnover."
"Our general experience has been good in comparison to others. We wish it didn't cost more than housing, but that's the time everyone's in."
"I really like this place and the people that provide care. I feel like my daughter is safe and cared for as much as can be expected. The price is tough for people on the margin that aren’t getting any assistance but I guess that is what it is. I’d recommend this school if you can swing it financially."
"My 2 year old son has attended this school for almost a year now & I’ve seen an exponential increase of personality, words, and overall knowledge. I intend to keep him enrolled here until it is time for him to go to kindergarten."
"The one thing I don’t care for is the “extra charges” they just add to your enrollment fee. Randomly charge extra to cover for crafts. It already cost a lot to go there.Th big kid playground is in bad shape. Add some turf so they aren’t dealing with mud puddles and bugs"
"My son went to this center from age 5 until age 12 and my daughter, age 5, is currently enrolled. I have loved this center and I'm thrilled my children go here. The teachers have always been amazing. The entire staff, including management, have always been so kind and professional. My daughter hasn't even started kindergarten and can spell her name, write her name, count to over 100, and more. I'm so proud of her progress. This center has been apart of my family for going on 9 years now. I plan to stick with it for the remaining 7 years my daughter has. I'll feel sad when my daughter will no longer go here."
"I thought this school was great and the staff seemed energetic and very caring during our initial walk thru but that’s not consistent behavior we get from the staff here.not all but most staff seem tired to the point that they no longer even want to deal with my child . It’s the end of the day sometime I get it but realize my child is two years old and he’s tired too. Grabbing him by the shoulders and tossing his aside you or yelling in his face is NOT how I talk to him nor do I expect his teachers to talk to him this was it’s rude"
"Very confident in how the entire staff manage the school and proud to partner with the school for child-care"
"Some of the teachers here are so loving and nurturing that you can feel it when you meet them and see them interact with your child and that is wonderful. I can trust them with my child because I know they are there because they care. Other teachers not so much. My child doesn’t fit what the cookie cutter child does for his age and it really shows to be a problem at times for the ta in his room. With senior staffing it tends to be better but with another staffer that is young I have seen my child being mocked while crying. He’s tossed to the side when he wants affection or encouragement he’s purposely ignored and it hurts my feelings that this was the only daycare option we had at the time to get him in. It **** because there are some great teachers here that want the best for him and see him laugh and progress but it’s not a constant thing here"
"I feel like the teachers genuinely care about my daughter as an individual. I am comfortable leaving her in their care and I know she will be safe. I love the SproutAbout App and getting to see updates throughout the day! My daughter is only 8 months old, but I can tell she has already learned a lot from being there and being around other babies."
"I've been using this school since 2015 with my first son and I have been thrilled with the level of care, love, respect, and preparation for my children. The staff are wonderful! I have enjoyed all the teachers my children have had and the managers, Tonya and Natalie, have been absolutely the best. Understanding, professional, caring, concerned, etc. I have enjoyed this school so very much and it's been a very important piece of both my children's lives."
"Not good as of late. They are constantly sending my child home symptomless. These are always confirmed with a doctors note. I am constantly using pto - and having my employer not be happy with the inconsistentcy"
"His main teacher is my biggest issue . I believe Mrs angie is her name. I watch my son a lot on camera and obviously not being able to hear is a big issue but her mannerisms and body language are not appropriate to me. She seems angry or burnt out and I don't like that my son cries so much because of this. My son loves playing with music toys and although there are some in his classroom of he takes one to play with she immediately grabs it from him. Holds his arm and gets right in his face saying something and he starts to cry ( I've seen this more than once on camera) and I don't like it at all. She would be the main reason I would want to remove my son from the school. Most of the other teachers here all seem to be more caring and have a loving nature towards my son and the other kids which is great! I absolutely love that. I love that when I pick him up I can chat with the other teacher and she really pays attention to him and picks up on things he likes . It shows a great level of care"
"Of the childcare options nearby, this one has been the best that we’ve found (and this is the 3rd place we’ve tried). The teachers are friendly, and the food is good. That said, the curriculum seems lacking (or doesn’t seem like a large focus of daily activities). For the age of our youngest, I don’t see the progress I would have expected. For our oldest in the after-school care, I like how engaging the activities can be but find it annoying that there isn’t any time allotted to focus on “homework” unless I specifically ask the teacher to make it. I get a general feeling there is not much tutoring time at “Tutor Time.”"
