"We used to love tutor time and would brag about its teachers and curriculum. Now I am considering pulling my daughter out."
"I love tutor time Milford. I have had an excellent experience thus far. The teachers genuinely care about my child’s safety and wellbeing. They are eager to see him and share fun moments during the day. My child is typically happy and comfortable when being dropped off. They communicate in real time especially when there is a problem or issue."
"I just love this school! The staff are amazing and the warmth you feel when you enter is amazing! They love my child for who he is and continue to work to support his needs. Thank you Tutor Time!"
"We have been beyond happy with the care that our daughter receives at Tutor Time! In short, we cannot recommend Tutor Time highly enough.
More specifics:
Care for your child: Above all things, we wanted to make sure our daughter was as loved and care for as if she was with family. The staff at Tutor Time exceeds this expectation. Her teachers have all demonstrated genuine love and care for the person my daughter is, not just overall compassion for children (which is important too!). They are affectionate, attentive, share concerns, and celebrate wins. They know my daughter very personally and approach her care individually. They keep a close eye on her development and work on specific milestones with her. I feel that the care is comprehensive and genuine - the team there is truly part of our "village." We cannot sing the praises of the staff enough!
Safety and communication: Of course, our daughter's safety was paramount. Tutor Time has a very good app with livestream components, and each classroom has multiple camera angles, so you can check in all day and see what is going on. They also send ongoing updates all day - such as diaper/food/nap/activity updates - so you feel very connected. The teachers and admin are all very communicative, receptive, and helpful with all matters. It truly feels like a team.
Bang for your buck: Your tuition fee includes diapers, wipes, bibs, and solid foods (2 meals and 2 snacks), which is just insanely valuable. The food is especially helpful - my daughter gets exposed to a healthy variety of foods (including some I wouldn't personally cook for myself, so it's good exposure for her).
I could go on and on about how much we adore the teachers and administrators, all the fun activities, and all the ways my daughter has flourished at Tutor Time - but I'll run out of characters! Simply put: I highly recommend Tutor Time of Milford. "
"The school is clean and the staff are friendly."
"Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided by the school. And I would like to highlight two main points:1) positive: as English is not my daughter's first language, I was very worried about how her adaptation would be. The language barrier is really challenging socialization with the children, but Miss Drea is doing a great job with my daughter, welcoming, respecting her time and encouraging her to interact with the children. My daughter feels a lot of confidence in her and that is very valuable to me. On a day when my daughter didn't have a good day at school, I talked to Miss Drea about some points that I would like more attention to and she promptly responded to my expectations. Therefore, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Miss Drea on her excellent work. 2) negative: when I visited the school and throughout the enrollment process, it was clear that diapers and wipes were included in the weekly fee. However, when making the first payment, I was informed that I would have to pay an"
"We came here from another program where we had a bad experience. Everyone from the folks who did our intake and tour to the director and Lola’s teachers have just been so healing after a bad experience. I am so grateful for tutor time and that we ended up here. All of the staff seem happy to be there, everyone knows my daughters name and says hello."
"Overall the school experience has been great. Most of the teachers are fantastic and the staff are welcoming. They do a really great job at putting together activities outside of school hours for parents and children to engage in. The one thing that's been difficult to swallow alongside the internal staff discord is the tuition increases. This was my choice of school because not only did it seem great but the price beat out every other daycare I looked at in the area. That's not the case anymore. I understand the need for tuition increases especially in the economy though so I can't hold it against anyone."
"Overall, we are happy with Tutor Time. We feel that our children are well cared for in a healthy and happy environment. They teach education skills as well as skills for mind and body wellness. We would like to recognize Ms Sydney (pk2) for her light and excitement she brings to the class. She focuses on providing skills to help the children calm their bodies to allow them to fully engage in their activities. Our son has grown so much in her class this year. Ms. Jazzy in twos is an absolute angel. She is patient and kind, has cared for both of our children. She teaches the children kindness and respect which is a life long skill. Our daughter is thriving in her class. Lastly, we would love to see more of Ms. Taylor. Ms. Taylor brings an energy to the school that is unmatched. She gets the kids excited to learn and participate in a safe but fun way. She brings a fun and familiar face to the center, as she was a teacher there when my son first started 4+years ago. Milford would be at a loss if she was to leave"
"Everyone is friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. I do not worry about my child's safety while I am away. I feel involved thanks to all of the updates sent through Sproutabout."
"Overall, the school did a good job prepping our older child for kindergarten. Things have changed since, especially with the staff. Class sizes are a little too large and there are gaps in communication that are a bit frustrating at times. The 3-hr nap time is not working."
"As a family we love the school, although the price is high we are comfortable so we try our best to make it work."
"There are a lot of good teachers in Tutor Time and that's the main reason I send my daughter and my son there, although it costs me one hour in total for drop-off and pick-up. A disappointing thing is that several good teachers left. I think Tutor Time needs to think about how to keep those good teachers."
"Great experience with the infant and toddler rooms with very engaged teachers that give our child a lot of personal attention/ care a lot about our child. There has been a lot of teacher turnover for the pre-school and pre-k class. There has been less communication about learning activities and progress for our older child. I am starting to have questions about the quality/credentials of the teachers and if my child will be ready to transition to kindergarten."
"Director has been responsive to my questions and concerns. Teachers are very friendly and caring toward my child. My child seems very happy going to Tutor Time!"
