I also don't think there is enough money spent on equipment, learning materials, toys, furnishings, activities, etc. The center needs to be remodeled and the furnishings, carpet, etc are very worn."

"This area is tough because there are several new daycares that are very clean and pretty with brand new equipment and so it is tempting to want to go there. But we had our older son in one of them and although so clean and beautiful, the teachers had too many kids. My son was really unhappy (something he is not in kindergarten). We are in love with our baby's teacher, Ms. Ruth, I know she loves our son and that is the most important thing. The next teacher, infants 2 or toddlers 1 - she is also just so lovely we are thrilled we get to move on to her as well. My only wish is for the school and the playground area are older and thus don't look as great. The floors in the infant area are vacuumed daily but a good steam cleaning, fresh paint would be great. And the outdoor playground, even just the grass, looks like it could use some love and attention. I know when it comes to finances, its better the money goes to the resources in the classrooms but in my mind, having those visual elements being less appealing are a deterrent and its such a wonderful place."
