"Positive. Haven’t had issues and someone always works with me when I have any concerns"
"We use to be very happy when it was Tutor Time. And we were very happy when we saw the changes Everybrook made. However the fact that they told us that the tuition wasn't going to increase and it unfortunately did. It is very displeasing and sad as our son loves the school, and became accustomed to it. He knows all the teaches and has multiple friends, and now we have to explore other options for him"
"general experience has been great the school has been very flexible and overall the experience has been good. sometimes I have to repeat my child's specific needs when some of them should be obvious."
"I have two points of feedback I have noticed (in chronological order): 1) I feel like the communication from the school is lacking. Apparently, the school has had a soccer activity for years, and other an a sign posted on the classroom (when my child was too young), there was no other communication about that activity. In addition, the communication for the transition from Tutor Time to Everbrook was never clear. We could see the construction and there was communication about a curriculum change, but it was never clear the entire school was changing until the sign on the building changed. Many of the communications for activities and events are on flyers taped to a door that aren't always apparent and sometimes hidden. I feel like the schools communication could be improved. For most families with young children, email is both the most efficient and effective way to send notices. 2) Although the curriculum and goals surrounding the transition to Everbrook all sound great, both my co-parent and I have noticed that all of the staff seemed overly stressed about this transition. It has taken away from the friendliness we once experienced from the school. I hope that stress is not also transferred to the classroom. I am hoping now that the transition is complete, we can all get back to a normal routine."
"Everyone has been so warm and welcoming. I love the updated and upgraded facility. The kids are so lucky. I would like to see the teachers in uniform (if even just matching school branded polo shirts) so it’s easier to spot out who works there and it looks professional. I love that the infant teachers wear scrubs- it’s a nice touch, I haven’t seen that at other daycare centers."
"We love the school. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Our kids are learning so much. My three year old can recognize all the letters of the alphabet."
"Friendly and helpful team. Our daughter is so happy "
"Overall we haven’t had the best experience. Although some teachers do provide a nuturing, supportive learning environment out of the 7 (yes, 7) we have met, the majority seem to just view this as a job and not as providing care for your children. Our hopes with childcare was one where we are equals with the teachers, where they interact, play, sing songs, do art, or even just talk with them all the time and that is clearly lacking in the infant room. A little hello/welcome in the morning would go a long way. It is also strange to have one teacher hover around the sleeping children and not be able to leave that area while the other teacher is left to take care of the rest of the kids needs (feeding, diapering, playing) - it doesn’t allow time for providing a true teaching experience (our previous center just did 15 min checks)-they should have 3 teachers in the room to provide a better learning environment. Wish we received more pictures and artwork too. Good in/outdoor playground tho."
"The school overall is great. Cleanliness needs to be worked on. I understand kids will get sick being around other kids but taking proactive measures can decrease the sickness that lingers in the classroom. I'm not a fan of the shared water fountain in the classroom and letting the children put their mouth on it. That isn't helping. They need to look at alternatives."
"Generally good. I think there's some inconsistency when a teacher takes their break. The rotating staff doesn't always know the infants very well"
"I've been very happy with the staff caring for my child."
"Our general experience with the school has been an amazing one. Our hats go off to the entire team for all they do, it's by no means an easy job. My son always comes home happy and definitely has shown clear signs of development in the two years he's been attending. A big thanks to the entire team. Our only area of concern, at times, is one of safety. We feel like it's too easy for a child to open the classroom doors and to wander. The front/ door to the building, although child proof, doesn't seem adequate enough. In other words, it appears a bit dated, in need of work, and doesn't always function as its suppose to. My recommendation would be to first install a new set of doors or fix the current ones making it near impossible for a child to open. Secondly, the double set doors which follow as you enter the building should be closed at all times.....which they're not......that way any child wandering the halls is prevented/deterred from gaining access to the front/exit door, which leads me to my last point. The front/exit door is the last line of defense from keeping our children from curiously leaving. Thus, the double set doors serve as an initial line of defense coupled with someone being stationed up front (unfortunately not always the case surely because of other duties/obligations or undermanned). Additionally, because the front/exit door is the last line of defense, I feel that access to it from the 3 year olds room is just too easy. The kids can clearly open it which essentially gives them direct access to the lobby and thus to the front/exit door. If for example, the front/exit door does not properly close, and nobody is up front or is and is preoccupied on the phone or with someone else, I find it too easy for a 3 year old to open there classroom door and slip out the front/exit door. This is not the staffs fault, we love them all, and are grateful for all they do, it's just a concern that crosses our minds at times and therefore though I'd share."
"My husband and I are very happy with this school for both our children. There was an incident that we were made aware of where a teacher was rough with an infant. We were told about the situation and the teacher was let go from the facility but there was another party involved that is still at the school which is worrisome. Safety is probably one of the most important factors that my husband and I looked at when we were researching schools for our little ones. I trust that every step will be taken to ensure that this school hires patient, well rounded teachers to watch our children."
"Great and the directors are really communicative. Just the transition to new class has been weighing heavy on me and him. He’s not as excited to be dropped off like he was in the last, he gravitates to people embed loves and likes"
"Ruth Larson (Director) and all of her staff are outstanding. I can't say enough good praises about Ruth!!"
