"This is a well run operation with an excellent web site. Prices are VERY reasonable. Return policy is liberal and, variety of product is amazing. Though I did not request it, they even helped me put the items I purchased in my car."
"I purchased a Honda lawnmower in January of 2015 that was listed as new, never used, on in open box. When I opened the box in May, 2015 to do my first mowing, the handle was bent, missing a critical spring lever that locks the handlebar's position. I used EBay's messaging system, and never received a reply. I even got their actual number and left messages and still no response. I then used PayPal's resolution center, which finally granted me a full refund, because T and T never responded to their requests. I had to return the unit to receive the refund, which would have cost more than having the lawnmower repaired. I feel that I should have received the refund and have T and T absorb the loss. Their Facebook page says they don't have a phone, what b/s. and they only respond to EBay and Facebook e-mails, which they did not in my case. So I'm reviewing them everywhere that I can and will file a complaint with the NY Consumer Affairs."
"These T and T guys were reluctant to give me an address and refused to give me a name or a phone number. It didn't pass the smell test, so I am buying elsewhere. It feels too sketchy."
"I ordered a refurbished Hoover Steam Vac from T&T on 2/12/2012. I have purchased many refurbished items, and they have always been in factory packaging, clean, and in working order. The Steam Vac arrived on 3/12/2012 in a dilapidated box. When I opened the box, there were only two small pieces of styrofoam in the box with the cleaner. There were several broken plastic pieces from the Steam Vac. The Steam Vac had hair in the brushes and water in the hose. I don't think this was refurbished just used. I contacted T&T through their website email on 3/13/12 requesting a RMA number and a refund. No response. I emailed again on 3/15/12. Again no response. I tried to call the phone number listed on the website on 3/16/12. I received a recording that indicated the phone number was an unassigned Magic Jack number. At this point, I believed that I had been scammed. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. They contacted T&T. I finally received an email from T&T on April 4 with a return merchandise address, but still no RMA number. I spent another $25 shipping the Steam Vac back to T&T. Hopefully, the credit card company will at least refund my original purchase price. I don't think T&T accurately describes the condition of their merchandise, and they are impossible to contact. I am so grateful that I purchased with a credit card."
"Wish I had read these reviews. Saw the deal advertised on a daily deal website I purchase from often with no problem. I just received delivery via(USPS)Dec. 30, 2011, of the "New LG BD630 Blu-ray Disc Player with Internet Access Netflix" for $69.99 that I ordered from T&T Trading Group on Dec. 13, 2011.
The DVD player is stated as "NEW" per your product description. The condition of the LG DVD player I received is completely unacceptable and can not possibly be new. Its not even in so-so used condition, honestly it looks as if someone picked it out of a dumpster, no one would pay more than $5.00 for it in a garage sale.
The box has been opened and re taped so many times you can not even read the product description, it is smashed, frayed, warped from being wet and appears years beyond its age.
T&T Trading Company, if legit, should be embarrassed to ship a product of this condition to a customer. I will never order from this company again. FYI this is only the second time in my life that I have written a bad review, for any transaction."
"I ordered a Wii Fit Plus package from one of their daily deals. It was advertised as "new". However the product I finally received arrived in horrendous condition. Not only was the product shipped merely wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag with a shipping label on it, but the product box itself was torn up in various places and had a sticker on it which read "DEFECT". I contacted customer service expressing my dissatisfaction. Several days later they finally responded saying the product was not advertised as new. I'm not sure that's accurate, but I wasn't going to make a fuss because they said I could return it if I wanted. I said I would like to return it and asked about the procedures for doing so. After not hearing from them for a few more days I asked again, and a few days after that they emailed me back with the return address and said to tell them my shipping cost and that they'd compensate me for that as well. So I took the product to the local UPS store and shipped it via UPS ground. I had to pay to have it boxed, however, as the UPS store wasn't willing to ship it in the way I had received it (wrapped in a plastic garbage bag). I included copies of all shipping costs and documentation in the box with the product. Once it was shipped about a week later I received my refund, but no refund for the shipping. I asked why and they said they would refund ground shipping but not 2nd day air shipping. I then twice sent them scanned copies of my shipping documentation as well as my receipts before they finally responded a few weeks later. They accused me of lying and said they won't be refunding any of my shipping costs. How do my printed receipts and shipping documentation filled out by the UPS Store lie? Pretty offensive, if you ask me.
Bullet points:
Product: Lousy condition, marked as "DEFECT"
Shipping condition: Received product wrapped in garbage bag
Customer service: Slow to respond, unprofessional, rude
I would not recommend anyone to ever do business with this company. Not to mention I ended up getting the product I wanted, brand-new, for cheaper elsewhere."
"Ordered on 01-01-11. Received on 01-13-11. Cost $5.99 with free shipping. This contained four items:
Badly faded and shop worn Picasa software. This software has been free from Google for years.
Extremely shop worn PC triple play pack game, Mean girls, Clueless, and Pretty in Pink. This is covered in Best Buy tags, one for $19.99, one for $9.99, and one for the box lot sale.
Some sort of headphones, they remind of the kind I used to have for my cordless phone.
NIB Sharper Image 25 pc, Fresher Longer Miracle Food Storage Bags.
Did I get my money's worth? Probably. Will I ever order from them again? No.
My friend ordered on the same day about the same time and she received the same stuff."
"Ordered Microsoft keyboard 11/25, advertised as new. Received USED keyboard 12/09 (two weeks later)."
"Quick summary. The TandT should stand of Terrible Twice. My experience -> Microsoft 1000 ordered on 25 July 2010. Arrived via UPS ground. Shipped loosely packed by being just thrown in the box. When opened I found the receiver had a note stuck to the bottom (obviously from the previous purchaser) that said "Receiver not working". The previous purchaser was correct. It did not work for me either. TandT Trading Group never responded to complaint or demand for refund. PayPal was NO help. Finally had to make a claim via my credit card company for a charge back."
"Deceptive practices. I ordered four "Box-O-Mystery"s from this seller. They did not do combined shipping, so I paid about $7.50 per box. When these boxes were sent to me, they were not boxes of mystery at all. The seller combined all three "boxes" into one small USPS bag. This bag probably cost less than $5 to ship, yet I was charged about $20 for shipping. An absolute rip-off, and very dishonest."
"Initially the company sent me two of the exact same mystery boxes even though they said the items would be different. I sent an e-mail to them expressing my frustration.
They offered to send me another mystery "box" (all three of them were in cheap USPS bags), which was nice of them. The new "box" contained similar old, outdated items (new bag contained a pair of cheap headphones in an open bag and an iPod nano case).
T&T Daily Deals might sell good items during a normal day, but their mystery boxes are not good. If you are thinking about purchasing one of these, I highly recommend you think about it. I paid $14.98 for both mystery "boxes" and other than the thrills of buying a mystery box, I don't think I got my money's worth. "
