"I ordered a system from their site. ($615.00). Shipping was fast and perfect. Followed the videos to a point where I discovered that I had purchased the wrong package for my particular vehicle with a JBL stock system. I went online and chose their chat system. Through that conversation, I was told that in order to complete it that I would need to order more items. I asked if they could provide me a list of what items that I would need, I was told that they were too busy to put that list together and had other people waiting. I emailed them asking for the list of what items would be needed and asked them to do it at their convenience. That was two weeks ago. I took my vehicle to a local stereo shop, as I should have done in the first place.
I would love to return the package, but with some of it being used ( cut power wire, etc.) and the hefty 15% restocking fee plus shipping, I suppose this will gather dust in my garage as I will not hand them one more dollar. Buyer beware."

"This is my second time buying from TacoTunes and this is the second time I've received A+ Service! I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and ended up buying the Image Dynamic 6.5s for the rear door and hatch, plus the Image Dynamics 6.5s Components for the fronts. Also all the mounts and wiring harness which made the install super easy (all plug-and-play)!
Really, the hardest part of the install was getting all the door panels off - but that wasn't a huge deal either (just follow YouTube videos).
The best thing about it - FREAKING AMAZING sound! I highly recommend tacotunes, for anyone looking to upgrade their factory system!"

"I recently order a rev-curve wiring harness. I was a bit hesitant to order after reading the horror stories, but decided them to give a shot. After all, I’m only located 2 hours away from their work operations. Shipping was overall decent since it was July 4th week and I knew product arrival time will be delayed. Item arrived the following week with no delay. Now here is the crappy part... I had read reviews that they have the tendency of shipping used products. Unfortunately this statement is true. I received a used item instead of a brand new. The recurve is a 2 piece harness system. One harness was in packaging. The other harness was just dumped in shipping envelope with black twist ties. Wire ends of that harness were cut at a angle by either scissors or wire strippers. Took pictures just Incase they are reading this. I paid for new products not previous used. If shipper did not have a new item, shipper should have just stated. I would have gladly just asked for discount on used product. Moral of story: buyer beware it’s a 50/50. "

"Did a lot of research online, and not wanting to cut up the wiring on my new 4Runner, the options were between Tacotunes, and another company based in SoCal. I like the fact that tacotunes allows you to piece together your requirements based on what you need and want. The final deal sealer was seeing photos online of the REAR of the actual speakers that they supply, vs their competitor in SoCal - the difference in size of magnet, and beefiness of the speakers, is huge. Looking forward to installing my system."
"I had been looking for a stereo for my 2016 Tacoma for a good while, but nothing really ever caught my eye and surprised me. I went online to a forum I am apart of and started asking for recommendations to stereo systems. Tons of recommendations were made and the only 2 that caught my eye were tacotunes and some other company that started with OE plus or something like that because they were plug and play. I started doing research and looking at numbers...it was clear which system offered more bang for the buck, and it was tacotunes.
I went to their website and picked out the SQ1 system. When everything arrived all I could say was WOW! The quality of everything was outstanding! From the box, the speaker mounts, the speakers, the tweeters, everything looked great!
I set a full weekend aside to get everything done...I started a day before watching the youtube channel videos and making myself a checklist (highly recommended), the videos helped out a ton! Along the way mid through the install I ran into a snag from getting the harness connections mixed up by accident. I went to the tacotunes website and clicked on the chat feature...to my surprise it was an actual person helping me out and not just a robot. I was helped by somebody named Daniel. Took all but 15 min to get everything situated, he was very nice and helpful with everything! When I finished everything up HOLY COW! It sounded beyond amazing, probably one of the best sounding systems I have ever had in one of my vehicles!
From start to finish everything went perfect! Cant say enough good things about these guys! THANK YOU!!

"I have to believe the rest of the reviews must have been written by their friends. My experience was horrible. The tweeter brackets were wrong, the amp rack was not for a 2018 tacoma, the amp was of poor quality. Out of the entire the wiring harness were the best part. I reached to customer service and received no response after 48 hours. I had reach out to daniel directly, and he stated that he knew about the tweeter brackets and how they had new model but they didn’t send it to me. The amp rack they denied that anything could be wrong with it, but the bolt that was supposed to line up with the seat bolt was off by a 1/2 inch. I had to modify the brackets to get my car work ready after not receiving a response for 2 days because even after entered a ticket and called, I never received a callback. I had to email daniel directly and wait another day before i received a response. The amp was of poor quality because no matter how many times i followed their instructional videos from youtube I could not get the unit to stop hissing. Plug speakers back into the head unit without amp everything sounds as clean as can be. I asked for a refund but because they said I modified the tweeter by countersinking a bolt and fixing the hole which was off from the factory I am unable to return the kit. They are staying because I used the wiring kit that came with it to test the amp it’s considered used? But how would I know without using the amp wiring kit that the amp would be bad? Then they blamed my kicker speakers for the hissing and tried to pitch their brand of speakers on me. Feels like a sales pitch to me. I would recommend staying away from these people they are not honest people and just to take your money. "
"I had my install done on my 2016 Tundra on May 16, 2018 and I got to say that these guys are TOP NOTCH! Super professional, and very reasonable. I decided to get the SQ1 package and I was very concerned because I’m a perfectionist when it come to wires showing and setup of the equipment. To my surprise they did it better than if I would have done it myself. They took very good care of my truck and did everything perfectly. The quality of all the products is one of the best that I have ever seen and I’m extremely happy with every step of this process. I decided to make some last minute changes on a few things and they were very accommodating and didn’t hesitate at all with my last minute requests. IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME since I have seen an operation like this! I shopped around and did a lot of research before giving up my cash and these guys definitely STOOD OUT and had the most to offer for my budget. I’m very please and very exited! Thank you!"
