"I have shopped quite often from this site and have found some products to be good and others poor. From colors of tee shirts that are represented on their site and arrive differently when received to items that are clearly seconds and not indicated on their site. Sometimes the prices are too good to avoid, but that is where the problems begin. If they oversell an item they expect you to wait an additional week on top of the time that they take to notify you that the item is unavailable to refund your money. In this case it is 9 days since I ordered and projected an additional 7 days for refund. Overall, buyer beware.

So they responded to my review and told me that they would contact me privately. I have received a $20 credit/gift toward my next purchase. That's very nice of them, and I have now received my personal correspondence. In it they apologized and addressed the fact that they are a small company trying to address the problems noted. I did not expect to receive anything from them and I'm really not sure how it makes me feel. As a courtesy to them I have improved my rating.

Wow, it is becoming a nightmare. My entire disgust that motivated me to write the initial review was Tanga's inability to deliver a product that I ordered for Halloween. In their initial response they told me that they were sorry that the item was not available, but the other one I ordered would be here in a week to 10 days. I still had not received it as of last Friday and sent them an inquiry about the status of my order. Today is Tuesday, October 28 2014 and they just responded to me at 6:30pm to let me know that the other item I needed is not available and they are refunding my money. They are unprofessional and unreliable. I would not order anything from them if it really mattered to you, they might break your heart too. "
"Over all an okay company. Great prices but a couple times I have received the wrong item and it's not worth my time to return it.
I have also received items that were a little damaged. Like a scarf with part of the stitching not as tight as the rest. Again, not worth the time and energy to return.
Also- Order updates are sometimes confusing. I was once told that after I purchased an item, it wasn't available. The message even said if I receive shipping confirmation, it will NOT come. So I checked back with Tanga for the item because I really wanted it, it was available. So I ordered it again. The next day....the original order came. I tried to cancel the 2nd order (because it said it was still being processed- not shipped). Tanga said it was too late to cancel. So....now I will have 2 unless I want to take the time to return it! ANNOYING!
Maybe they need better people double checking that the correct item is being sent and that the item isn't damaged."

" Funds were withdrawn from my PayPal account on October 7th by Tanga and I received a thank you email for my order. However, on the evening of October 8 Tanga sent an email canceling my order. I don't understand, I have been a good customer to Tanga and have placed many orders with them.
I sent 2 emails requesting an explanation for this and ironically I receive the exact same form letter response about security. If it was really security why charge me at all? The payment was approved! I suspect they can't fulfill their orders and used this canned security response as an excuse.

"I've been shopping at Tanga for the last year, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. They have the best deals first. I subscribe to their emails and it's serious retail therapy to browse even just the email during long days at work. They have a great variety of goods, and most of the times the deals are really incredible. I've had a few bad buys; one time I got the shirts I ordered in the wrong size three times in a row and another time I bought something that came broken up in shipping, but both times customer service was quick and helpful and they were still overall positive shopping experiences. Let's just say I shop at Tanga more than I shop on Groupon."

It stated the package would contain 2 pair of black and the remaining would be assorted. Needless to say I ordered the assorted to have the 2 pair of black as I didn't need all 6 pair as black. And there were only 3 colors. Hmm, a bit misleading on colors, product itself super soft!"
