"I purchased a sign that I was excited to give me boyfriend before he leaves for Spain. I was going to give it to him for Christmas. They delayed the order twice, only to ultimately cancel the entire order “due to out of stock”. He now leaves in less than a week and there’s nothing I can do about it. Had they been up front, I would have gotten him something else. This was very important to me and they completely let me down. DO NOT order from this website. Absolutely trash. "I have purchased from Taylor gifts many times. But today I called Customer Service and the Man I was talking to HUNG UP ON ME. If he worked for me, he would be fired immediately. Other times when I called Customer Service, I would be on hold and finally someone would pick up the call and hang up the phone. I think your Customer Service department needs a lot of improvement."
"Ordered a ladder with handles. When it arrived it was missing hardware to connect the handles so I called. They said please wait four weeks and you will send you out the parts. Four weeks later nothing called again and of course had no record of request. Said wait one more week and we will send it. Well one week has come and gone.....and I now know this company is a scam. So if you want to buy junk be sure to use Taylor gifts. I wish I could give them no stars but one is lowest that is allowed."
"I wish I had read these reviews sooner, as all the complaints about their horrible customer service are true. I bought an item, and while following its shipment tracking USPS suddenly said that they were unable to deliver to my address. Not-so-coincidentally, my shipping address doesn't appear on my order confirmation email or the online order tracking - meaning I have no way to verify my own address. All attempts to talk with customer service via email or online chat have been met with no response. I'm just glad I only bought one item and didn't screwed out of more money."

"This place sucks. I've been trying to call and return a Christmas gift for 2 days. I've gotten one guy who was super rude and yelled at me for asking questions. When you select the option for customer service the phone just rings and rings so your forced to select the place a new order option and all they want is your credit card # right away and if you ask them a question about returning an item they transfer you to the phone no one answers. This place is the most poorly run, crappy store on the internet, if you buy anything from them, don't expect to be able to return it or get a hold of customer service if you have a question. They'll take your money all day long and thats where the transaction stops"
"I received immediate confirmation - then the games started - I got a "buySAFE Certificate of Guarantee" This should have tipped me off - this guarantee is only good for 30 days of purchase so it's iffy if it applies to back orders. The back order item became the issue. Kept getting prompt replies from a D Gulotta that basically said nothing - I accused them of offering an item at half the price as a sale item then back ordering it indefinitely so that they never have to ship it. A "may be legal" version of the old bait and switch. On my last email response, I received a message that I had been blocked by their email DAEMON. Truly a sorry excuse for an honest retailer - foundation or no foundation. In the interim they send you spam several times a day.

"I just made my first online purchase with Taylor Gifts and was stunned at ineptness of their so-called Customer Service. THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO WORK WITH AND THEIR ONLINE SERVICE IS A TOTAL CHEAT!! The 20% discount code and free shipping on my order disappeared just before the order went to process, increasing my charge by about $12. So I called customer service and the rep told me I needed to click Process on the order so she could help me. I reluctantly did so, despite the higher cost. She then told me my coupon code was invalid but that she would give me free shipping for a $5 fee. Sorry, but that's not what I placed the order for. She began ARGUING with me and then I asked to talk to a manager. She came back on the line and told me all the managers were busy, that she COULD NOT cancel my order anymore, and that their managers DONT call people back!! I am contact the BBB about this awful business!!"
"As far as quality is concerned, both this company and their products live in abject poverty. I'd given up on ever getting any responses from them even when I wanted to place an order. I had to write about six emails before they would respond to even ONE. When I got the ONE, I regained my confidence in them -- only to have to write more and more emails. Getting no response from them, I finally wrote them my final email and said that because they have been so non-communicative, I've given up on them. There's somehing wrong with a company that advertises great deals but won't talk to you. Then, when a LONG-AWAITED order FINALLY came in (which I'd placed because they advertised under GET ORGANIZED, and I thought I was placing an order with new company called Get Organied), I opened it, only to find very sub-standard merchandise. The lamps had a rough texture (which you don't see in the picture), and they were much smaller than what the picture shows. The three-piece fan cooler arrived with one of the pieces deflated because of poor packaging. There was water all over the package because of that piece of the fan cooler that burst. They just don't care about customer satisfaction. "

I had to wait 3-4 weeks just to find out that the order was canceled, only after calling to find out about the status of the order!! Their website claims immediate notification if the merchandise isn't available. not true, just another tactic to get your e-mail, in my opinion. "
"I placed the order on 1/7 and as of 1/18 it had not been processed. When I called to inquire on the order the CS representative told me they would send it tomorrow. When I asked about the delay I was told that she didn't work in warehouse then she hung up on me. Her name was Erica. I had issues when placing the order as well since they said on their site free shipping and when I called in about it the man on the phone said he couldn't give me free shipping and hung up on me. They have serious problems within their organization and I would not ever purchase from there again."

As for the second larger item (OVER DOOR MIRROR ARMOIRE, item #28877), they did not actually have it in stock and it was marked "Backordered". I also received an email about this from Sidney Hawks
Director of Fulfillment, Taylor Gifts, Inc. on 11/25. Since then it has been more than 1 month and they still did not find/ship the item. I called them after about 2 weeks wait since the email and was ASSURED the item would arrive to them by 11/18. This did not happen. I had hoped this would be a Christmas gift!.. And now on 11/26 I am canceling. Their customer service is a separate matter. It takes 15 "push buttons" and several drop calls to reach a human. And then one guy more rude than another says the item has not arrived, they do not know why and when it would, and pretty much I have to wait. One of them even hanged up on me. Well, decide for yourself if you want to dela with these..."
"TERRIBLE! I ordered a metal floral mirror from them. Somehow I received a Swivel It tv stand (basically a rectangle of wood with a swivel on the bottom) with no receipt, packaing slip, or label of any sort. I called them the next business day and explained the situation and they said they'd send a return shipping label in 7-10 business days and that after I returned it, they'd send me the correct item. 1.5 weeks later, still no label. So I email customer service, explain the situation, and ask for an estimated arrival time for my label. I get a one sentence, all caps, response of, "WAIT FOR 10 BUISNESS DAYS." I finish waiting for the 10 business days, then I respond that the label is still not here. This time the response is, "IT WAS MAILED ON " Yeah, that date was well over 10 business days ago. I reply that I still don't have it and get a response of, "WILL SHIP ANOTHER." Great. Two more weeks - no label. I call them and get a rather rude guy who implies that if my mail isn't getting to me that isn't my problem. I tried to explain that obviously the Swivel It got there, so the problem isn't on my end, but he just said he's send another and to wait 10 days. I asked about getting them to just send the correct item in the mean time, and he informs me that the item I originally ordered is now sold out!!! I informed him that if the label was not at my house within exactly 10 business days that I would not pay my VISA bill, keep the Swivel It (not that I have a TV small enough to use the stupid thing on...), and report him to the BBB. He said, "Ok." Awesome... Now we're up to 3 "shipped" labels that I haven't received. I tell my Mum (who ordered the mirror for me as a gift) and she calls them. She gets a very nice lady who swears she'll personally send one out. 10 business days later, still no label. That makes 4. We're now in the process of disputing the claim with the credit card company (since this dispute took nearly 2 months the bill had already gone through) and are no longer getting responses to emails.
No matter how good the price, DO NOT order from here. If you happen to get the right item the first time you might be fine, but if ANYTHING is wrong, you're done for. We looked into Taylor Gifts and they've got several complaints against them with the BBB and are under investigation. No wonder..."
