"I was very happy buying with technikdirekt.de. Although the story of my order was a bit strange, at all the stages of the process the customer service was quick, efficient and helpful.
Around March 2005, I ordered a digital camera kit. As the item was out of stock everywhere, I had to wait some time. To make small a large story, when I was waiting for the order I decided to get another model and contacted technikdirekt to cancel the order. Unfortunately for me the original order had been shipped that same day. As told by the customer service, I refused the package and a few weeks later my credit card was refunded.
Meanwhile I placed another order, which again took some time because the items were out of stock everywhere. But the items have arrived and everything went okay.
I'd rate their customer support as excellent. They were very quick to answer my emails. One minor annoyance is that they usually don't give an estimate of the delivery time. I think this is to safeguard the customer, as to avoid constant postponments due to supply difficulties.
The goods (as far as I know) are supplied with european-style plugs, which might be a problem for UK customers. Unfortunately they don't seem to provide english manuals in all their products. In my order I got german, french and italian manuals."
