To my surprise I received an e-mail on Tuesday morning saying that the $79 printer I order was loaded into the system with an erroneous $40 rebate tied to it and now would cost me roughly 50% more. The e-mail went on to say that their website stats pricing could change anytime. Thanks for that. You showed $79 + tax. You processed payment. You showed "Shipped" then bump the price up $40 to be even MORE than your competitors ? I placed the order on a Friday night, got confimation that it was shipped on Monday, and it showed up on my doorstep Monday afternoon. There was a slight billing issue, and the Techonweb billing person called and was very patient with me as I struggled to understand the issue...and then he worked with me to come up with a positive solution. This kind of service is increasingly rare these days. Usually, the company simply delays your order until the customer calls, weeks after the product should have been delivered. I went to the extent to contact the vendor who assured me that they would reserve the item and ship it as soon as the TechOnWeb order came through. Here it is the 22nd of the month and I still have no confirmation that the order has been shipped despite numerous phone calls and e-mails and promises. This companys Customer Service personnel do not do what they tell you they will do and this will be my first and last order with them. "
