When I phoned, a live and pleasant customer service rep transferred me to a voice mail where I left a message requesting a call back. When I did not receive a return call I emailed customer service. To date there has been no response to my email. I have ordered from competitor, Tennis Warehouse, frequently with good outcomes so was hopeful I would receive the same service from Tennis Express. Unfortunately this has not been the case as I continue to wait for resolution and refund. "

I Never Should've Bought Tennis Shoes Online!

“I knew I shouldn't have ordered tennis shoes online! I'd never done it before. For years I've always gone to my local tennis shop, tried on multiple pairs and was never disappointed. My one plunge into an online shoe purchase from Tennis Express has turned out to be a painful disaster. After looking at more than a dozen shoes on the TE website, I called twice and spoke to phone reps. I asked about different models and what would happen if they didn't fit properly. I was assured I'd get a full credit for another pair of shoes. As I went to purchase a different brand, the rep recommended the New Balance 996 "French Open" as a new shoe at a good price. I'd never worn NB before and was skeptical of a "French Open" model that could be worn on all courts. The rep told me it's an all-court shoe, so I bought it. My first match on a hard court with the 996s and I knew I was in trouble. The pressure points on the tops of my big toe joints was excruciatingly painful! And that was only equaled by the number of times I slipped on the court. I NEVER slip on hard courts. As soon as I got home I called TE and was told the shoes were considered "used" and that I might get a 50% store credit. This was my online shoe nightmare come true! I told the rep I had never returned a pair of tennis shoes before, and would try them for one more hard court match. She said then my credit would be even lower. I was furious. I tried the shoes for several more matches and they are just as painful now. These shoes seem to not break-in as every pair I've had has done. I now wear my old shoes, and the New Balance 996s I bought from Tennis Express just sit there. My feet hurt just looking at them.”"
