"Back in late 2015 we had the misfortune of a 5 month old Fluke 1587 meter breaking down. We got a Return Authorization from Tequipment and sent the faulty meter to the Fluke Service Center.

A Fluke technician there inspected our meter and blamed us for mistreating it by somehow getting "contaminants" onto the printed circuit board that caused corrosion and made the meter inoperative. As if we'd go out of our way to abuse a $700 meter. Yeah, sure Fluke, it couldn't have happened during your manufacturing process.

Our warranty claim was denied by Fluke. The failure was deemed to have been caused by our negligence and that was it.

In sheer disgust I reported this to Jorge at Tequipment. To my absolute delight he arranged a brand new replacement at Tequipment's expense. I did not ask for this and certainly didn't expect such service.

Tequipment have provided the ultimate in customer satisfaction & service and they deserve positive feedback in any way I can make it happen.
