"I ordered two multi meters. I had trouble with the web site, in that it would not let me change quantity to two. I tried several times. I gave up and just made two orders. I was called a short while later by a representative of Test Equipment Depot. She wanted to know if I duplicated my order in error. I said no, I need two items but the website would not let me change quantity. She apologized for the confusion and said she would change one order to quantity of two and delete the second order. Not so good on website, but made up for with customer service. Receive the items in a few days. All good."

"The Testo 557 arrived with a defective vacuum sensor. I have to send the entire kit back for warranty exchange, not just the sensor. So now I am without everything, for a week while it is shipped back, and another week for a new one to arrive. So TWO weeks without the $466 test equipment. I'm not happy that they can not work with Testo direct to get a new vacuum sensor only, so I can use the rest of the gauge set. I should have bought locally."
"We use Reseller Ratings to find out if a new (to us) merchant is reliable. For that reason, we were prepared for communications delays from Test Equipment Depot. After they acknowledged our order, it was a full two weeks before they notified us that they needed to order the item. The items finally arrived (shipped from the Boston area) 24 days after we placed the order. We would have given them five stars if they would simply have provided an update every few days after we placed the order. We had well over $2,000 pending on our credit card with no information from the merchant for two weeks - very concerning. We understand that they will not have every item in stock and it might take some time for them to acquire and ship a product. That said, Test Equipment Depot has absolutely the best selection and the best product descriptions among similar companies. The products we ordered (water leak detection equipment) arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended - with the caveats that they do not communicate well and the shipping time can be fairly long to the western U.S."
