"They offered me over $50 for my textbook that I paid over $200 for. I was excited to get some money back for my textbook. I had to pay $10 to get a box that fit my textbook to send at the UPS store. Then I get an email that just states they recieved it and are giving me nothing for it because it isnt what I said it was. AND that I would have to pay to get it shipped back. I emailed and emailed for days waiting to hear back. Now come to find out since the email says that I have 72 hours to request my book back it's just gone now. "

Recently I shipped 20 textbooks to your facility. 'A Guide to Writing as an Engineer' was quoted at $15.47. I sent eight(8) copies of this text, yet only two were considered worthy to be paid for. The six(6) remaining copies I request to be sent back less shipping. I know that all eight copies were in the same condition and do not understand why they were withheld. I find it absurd that six(6) 'A Guide to Writing as an Engineer' quoted for $92.82 were not shipped back and instead labeled "recycled" essentially stolen. I am simply requesting that I have these textbooks returned and I will pay for shipping.

"I sent two books to them. One they claimed Textbook(s) were inspected by us and we were unable to validate that these items were authorized publisher's copies. Quote Adjusted. So I did not get paid for that and was charged 3.95 to get the book back. My book was ordered from my school bookstore brand new. Makes no sense. So back to the rest of the story. This return and my assessment of my other book was done on 04/26/19. I still have not received payment for my other book at my returned book back. "Sold and send the book a couple of weeks ago. Quoted my book for about $60. Took 2 WEEKS AND HALF to "inspect" and give me ZERO dollars for the book. Saying my book has loose leaf and not international version. I am sure ISBN I input shows what kind of book I am selling. This website and scammers need to be gone. Seriously. They think they are fine to stab student's back with money. "

"This website is an absolute sham!! I tried to sell a textbook that I had bought just a few months earlier which they quoted me at $70. At the same time I sent textbooks to three other websites. All three other websites promptly sent me a PayPay transaction when they received the textbooks. The only website that didn't was Textbookrecycling.com who claimed that the book was damaged and that it was the wrong ISBN. Both of these claims were 100% false. The book was in mint condition with no writing in it and it had never been banged, dropped, or dented. The ISBN I confirmed multiple times. They claimed they sent me an email notifying of their denial of the book but I never received anything (I checked my email archives). So they disposed of the textbook and didn't give me a dime. My guess, they kept the textbook and resold it for a 100% profit. They literally stole my property and told me a bunch of lies. This place is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. "

"I initially was very skeptical about selling to these people, largely because they have a reputation online of scamming sellers for their books. However, they quoted me at the highest amount for the books that I was selling, so I had no choice but to take a risk on them. They quoted me $93 for two books that I was selling (which, in my defense, were in great/virtually new condition, since I take care of my books very well). When they received them, they were processed immediately and I got my money within 48 hours after it was processed.

My biggest advice for this is to not sell books that are blatantly in bad condition from the get-go, and to package your books appropriately for shipping. Also, be sure to get your orders in the mail as soon as you get your quote. That way, you're guaranteed to maintain your quote. Also, they were overall super helpful with my order. I emailed them a question (post-shipping, about processing), and they got back to me within 6 hours.

When the company received the books they said they weren’t in good conditions don’t they couldn’t pay me for the books. If I wanted them back I had to pay return shipping. I was quoted for a very expensive book that I bought from a reliable bookstore (I’ve been in a university for 8 years and counting), and after I shipped it they told me they couldn’t buy it because it might be counterfeit. I have never had this issue before & I just finished selling about a dozen textbooks. This is the first time something like this happens & I think they’re just lying because they don’t want the book anymore. They forced me to pay shipping to get the book back. "
