"I've ordered from this online company and when I've ordered their 'Steals' as they call them for face and body products, they state that these items are worth a certain amount. For example, my last order of items from them -Clarins and Christie Brinkley products- they stated these items are at the least worth $55 and yet when they sent these items, the Clarins product is Not the size or amount that they stated Ulta carries. In fact, this item they sent is a Gift With Purchase from Clarins and it's Not sold in that size unless it's in a box set with other items. The customer service also told me it's worth $32 which is definitely not even close to the amount they stated it's worth. They did offer my money back but only if I didn't open it. The whole point of all of this is not the money so much but it's their fraudulently stating it's worth a certain amount and then sending a product that is not what they advertised. That is disgusting!!!"
"After placing several orders with That Daily Deal, receiving the items as described and in perfect shape, I'm no longer tentative about ordering from this company. I did run into a couple of hiccups on a couple of items; however, Kiesha in customer service was quick to respond, sent me a mailing label for returning at their expense, and was quick to credit. In another case, she simply replaced the item which had arrived without the expected batteries, These instances were out of a multitude of items ordered, so not terribly significant. And as long as a company is willing to make the situation right, I don't see a problem. On the plus side, That Daily Deal has some great prices on quality items. It's worth cross checking, but I have found them on several occasions to come in at less than half the cost for the same items on Amazon, Walmart, and Ebay, beating out all three. Plus, they only seem to charge tax for the state that they are in, which helps out customers in other states. Comments have been made about lengthy shipping times, but I have found them to be reasonable, about in line with how long it takes ShopDisney to deliver a box to my door. Plus, they seem to have bundle up offers where shipping is free if you place all your orders and agree to have them shipped together after a certain given date. This means the orders take about 2 weeks to reach you, but for me, if I'm not in a real rush, I like this free shipping option. For small orders you wish to have delivered faster, shipping cost is not unreasonable. I have found the various company names for almost like companies inside of That Daily Deal to be a bit confusing. They seem to have something Jammin', Meatball, and Extreme SGD (stupid good deals?) as kind of a member thing with pricing slightly less. There doesn't seem to be any charge for such membership. They send some daily specials as well as lists of others. Overall, they send too many emails, and I end up deleting a lot without really reading. I wish they would limit these to one a day, instead of around six. I'm probably being picky with these complaints, but they might be looked at as suggestions for ways of improving. I'm continuing to buy from That Daily Deal because they do have some great deals! In part, because of Kiesha's help with everything -- she was kind and pleasant with all -- I have grown in my trust of this company."
"Look Y’all, I love you, so I’m going to be honest with y’all. I have been a member of the Monthly Mystery Box Of Awesome for a while now, I I get the box for $34.99, I figure go big or go home, right? I even ordered the Mother’s Day Mystery Box this year, which, Thank the Lord, came on time!
I have now ordered from the actual site 3 times. My first experience was pure hell. I literally wrote to customer service about 4 times before I got a response, and when I did, I felt as if I was getting attitude from them, not understanding because of the lack of communication between them and me. It turns out with that order, there was an item on back order that had been taking a while to get there, understandable. All I want is a little communication.
This time around I have ordered over $160 worth or stuff, and have written customer service over 3 weeks ago, so they’re about to lose $35 a month, plus someone who is willing to buy that dollar amount in product a month on top of the Mystery Box.
They truly need to work on their customer service. I have also tried to call them, repeatedly, and only get their answering machine. They do not provide me with tracking numbers for my items that I have bought, only the Mystery Boxes. I would take screenshots of the customer service responses, because they’re seriously plain rude, but I’ll just leave it at that.
It just really **** because I truly LOVE the Mystery Box, but I want to make a statement that they can’t run a company this way, and keep loyal customers, because it’s NOT okay."
"I placed 3 different orders to this company. Two of them on 01/22/2018 and another one on 2/2/2018. I was told to be patient that they were back logged but they would let me know when my items ship. Well, it is now 2/20/2018 and I have yet to see my orders. When I check my account, it says the orders are "pending shipment".
I have read reviews dated back to 2015 and before where customers gave them a great customer rating. However, any reviews after 2015 are all one star. What has happened to this company since 2015? Does it not bother them that most of the reviews are saying to not order from them? I wish I had seen the reviews prior to my ordering.
If I hear from them after this latest email I sent, I will update my review. However, at this time, I would not recommend them to an enemy or friend. I would say they are doing false advertising."
"I really do appreciate this company's customer service/support. Very prompt response and extremely courteous and helpful. "
