"The Best Things is simply the best online vendor I've ever dealt with. Placed my order of a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with lens kit on Wednesday evening, got a confirmation call the following morning telling that my order had been processed and mailed. Then a few hours later got an email along with a UPS tracking number in it. Then finally today Friday, the camera is in my hands. Exactly what I ordered, right on time delivery, and Jodie -- the lady who called was very kind and helpful. Most importantly they had the best price I could find: $50 off the average price on this $999 camera. I highly recommend The Best Things to everyone, and I would definitely shop with them again

"I've been looking for a Canon EOS 300D for about 3 weeks pretty seriously online and in local stores. I've spoken with some real jokers and unpleasant folks online. And some real unhelpful ones in the stores. Of all the online shops to buy this camera from, I decided to give The Best Things a try because of their stated philosophy on their site to value customers and deal squarely. Placed my order just one day ago and have not received it yet, BUT, I've had a need to speak with Customer Service. A most pleasant woman answered the phone right away and resolved the issue immediately. Didn't have to press a bunch of numbers to get to someone; to wait on hold; to agonize over how to get this thing done. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I will look at this site first when I want to buy something on line. If they carry it, I will definitely buy it from The Best Things before any others. This is the way business should be done in my opinion - with the customer being the part of the equation valued the most. And I blame most, if not all, of this good news on that great person who answered the phone and solved my problem. "

"I was skeptical at a store with such low prices having such high customer satisfaction ratings. I was wrong, their prices were VERY low and they helped me find the right camera after I had been burned over the internet in the past. Getting a low price on an inferior product is no deal. The Best Things spent the time and had the detailed camera knowledge to get me the right thing and a VERY good price. Highly Recommended! "

" Purchased a Canon 10D from The Best Things. The price was excellent with free shipping. The camera was out of stock which was not indicated on the web site. I telephoned and spoke with a woman who was very pleasant. I waited 2 1/2 weeks for the camera to come in. It was shipped the same day. It is a USA model and I was never asked to purchase additional items. I am very pleased with my experience with this store. They are honest and very pleasant to deal with."

"I ordered an Olympus c750 and some extra memory on 1/8 recieved it on the 13th as told I would on the follow up e-mail. I checked out many online stores before ordering and decided to go with THE BEST THINGS due to their consistent good ratings. Price was a little lower on some other sites but, not that much to take a chance on getting a gray market product. Camera came as described , new with USA warrenty .

"Initially the Canon EOS Rebel was not in stock as indicated on the web page. Since it was the long weekend of Thanks Giving, customers had purchased more digital cameras than what was in the inventory. It happens. After pointing out the discrepancy between the inventory and the information on the web page, the web page was modified within a few hours. Timely updates to a web site are rare from larger corporations and most of the smaller corporations just don’t pay attention to these ‘details’. It was nice to see that “The Best Things” cared.

Ten days later, I got a notification – which I requested - that the Canon EOS Rebel was in stock. This notification came as a voicemail on my cell phone and an email. Again, this was a really nice touch.

That day, I used the “The Best Things” web site to help me decide what I wanted to purchase in addition to the Canon EOS Rebel. I felt that the information provided about the flash cards and flash card readers was not sufficient to confirm that I was purchasing the items that I wanted. I must admit that I’m a carefully buyer. I read too many horror stories from people who don’t get the products that they bought. Sometimes the vendors are at fault, sometimes, the customers don’t spend the time to ask questions up front. In doubt, I called “The Best Things” support and I got all the desired answers. At my request an email, sent back to me, summarized these answers just to keep a written trace. At that point in time, I fell that I could count on my order to be accurate. Later, as I was completing the order over the phone, a flash card that I really wanted just arrived and I was offered the option to change my order for this flash card. I really appreciated the fact that they remembered my initial order and were able to accommodate this change at the last minute. The price difference was negligible for them; the switch was offered to please me as a customer. I confirmed my order and paid by credit card.

From that point on, I got a tracking number the same night and I was able to follow the package up to my door. The package arrived in a timely fashion.

In conclusion, I’m pleased with my experience and will shop there again. However, I would like more product selection. My ideas for improvement is that the navigation of the web site could be improved with a better layout and the product information for some products could be more complete. These changes would reflect and enhance the professionalism of this corporation.

"This is my second purchase of a major item (Canon digital Rebel) and I am extremely pleased with "The Best Things." Lee is knowledgeable and friendly, prices are very good, and shipping was free and only took 1 day! This place is the real deal if you are serious about getting a great price, great service, and talking to friendly staff. Don't waste time with the NYC and other shops that advertise prices that you know are too low; just buy at "The Best Things." My first purchase was an Optura Pi digital camcorder and there had a problem with it. I called and received a new camera the next day, before I had even shipped the old camera back! I am still using that camera, three years later with no problems. I unhesitatingly give "The Best Things" my highest retailer rating."
