"Unable to purchase a back up (system one) CPAP unit with out a prescription. I
would understand it if an insurance company was paying for it but not when I
am paying. The Insurance companies would never pay for a back up unit. My
wife's prescription is with the original provider "Baystate Medical" which no longer
is allowed by Medicare and their price is much higher. To request another perscription
from the hospital would of course cost a lot of money. "
