"The prices at this store are great, with free shipping. Checked Reseller Ratings before ordering, but no feedback, which is why I'm adding this.

Placed order on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 7:05 PM. Got instant order verification via Paypal, and the store. Got the following email on Thursday, January 27, 2011 6:44 AM: "Your order #XXXXX with TheCatalyticConverterStore.com is now processing and has been submitted for shipment. You will be emailed a UPS tracking number once your order has shipped.

I called ***-***-**** that evening at 5:00PM from Ohio (they're in California) on landline, and got voicemail. Called a few minutes later on mobile and got same voicemail. Left my number both times and never received a reply. Sent message via their contact form, and never received a reply. Emailed their contact from Paypal, ****@****, asking how to go about initiating an order cancellation? A reply came January 27, 2011 9:09 PM from Cory Bradford, who said, "When you receive them, you are welcome to be sent them back, 20% restocking fee applies." I then emailed back, "They obviously haven’t been shipped, or I’d have a tracking number. Since they aren’t on the truck, why can’t I cancel now? No reply.

On Friday, January 28, 2011 7:22 AM I got an email stating, "Good News! Your order with TheCatalyticConverterStore.com has shipped. It had a tracking number which showed 01/27/2011 4:51 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS, and an Origin scan at 8:41 P.M. The order was received on 01/31/2011, 3:50 P.M.

The actual shipping of the order was quite fast, and I'm happy about that, but the lack of communication is very disconcerting. I'm not even going to bother to contact them about the fact that the Eastern Converters I received don't fit correctly. That isn't their fault, but there's no way to resolve it with the old converters already removed.

I will not use The Catalytic Converter Store in the future, and certainly will NEVER buy Eastern converters again!"
