"We purchased a dress from thecelebritydresses.com on 2/7/13 and were very disappointed in the delivery time and the purchase. The website advertised 4-6 weeks for delivery and it took a little over 8 weeks to receive the dress. The dress was not the dress we agreed to buy and didn't look like the one in the picture. Even the fabric was a disappointment and was heavy and not lightweight. We had even asked them prior to ordering if the dress looked like the original designer dress it was modeled after and they responded yes (on the website). We contacted the seller to ask if we could return since the dress was different from what was pictured. They told us they had a no return policy. We had payed via paypal, but since the dress was delivered late and outside paypal's 45 day dispute window, we have no option except to keep the dress that we don't want. I highly recommend that anyone that reads this review avoid purchases from thecelebritydresses.com."

"HORRIBLE company!!! It took WAY longer then they promised to get the dress. You are going to wait way over a month to get your dress. Also customer service is horrible I understand they are in a different country but they will only write back to you if you start writing angry messages. Well when you get the package it is in the tiniest non padded envelope with no protective plastic over the dress.
The dress came full of snags and thread hanging everywhere. It is unfortunately unwearable and when I contacted them about it they won't write me back.

"I placed an order and was told the dress was in production and I would get a tracking number. After 2 weeks they emailed and said, sorry, the dress is was unavailable. I requested a refund at that time. They did not refund me and shipped the dress 8 weeks later. I did not accept shipment, but am fighting for my refund.
Buyer beware - Do not shop here. They do not respond to customer service. The company is in China and you pay upfront with no way to resolve disputes, even if it is their fault and they are the ones who can not perform. "
"I placed an order with Celebrity Dresses and sent specific measurements. The Colour and style of the dress was like the picture when I received it however the size of the dress was not made to my measurements. The top of the dress would fit someone with a cup size 3-4times bigger then mine and the waist is another 2 sizes bigger then it should be.
To get these problems fixed I would be looking to pay the cost of the dress again as I will have to get material removed for it to fit correctly.
The company initally responded to my emails and since sending photographic evidence that they did not make the dress to measurements given I have not heard from them.
I will definitely not be buying from this site again if they can not get simple measurements correct. "

"I ordered a custom sized dress from this site, it arrived and the waist was too small and the dress was too long. I wouldn't describe the quality as great either. I emailed them and they said that because I had ordered a custom size dress I couldn't return it so I immediately opened a dispute with Paypal. They have offered me $85 as a partial refund however my tailor has quoted $136 to fix what they have done wrong. I have lodged this response with Paypal today so we will see what happens. If they can't get sizing right when measurements are provided they are not worth dealing with. Especially as they take so long to respond to emails and there are plenty of other sites that offer the same services."
