Poor Customer Service

"I ordered two lamps and they never shipped. The company failed to respond to numerous email inquiries into the order status. Terrible customer service. Now it’s been almost a month, so I officially “cancelled” my order today. Sad part is they have all of my VISA credit card information. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!"

"I ordered a gingerbread cake candle that I hoped would be similar to the one I bought for many years in New Hope, PA. My order arrived a short while ago and I have already lit the candle! I am SO thrilled! It is the exact same candle! I have searched and searched for it. I no longer live near New Hope so I wasn’t able to buy it anymore. I will be ordering more! "

Poor Customer Service

"I ordered placemats and accidentally submitted the order twice. Immediately I emailed customer service (it was after hours so I couldn't call) asking if they could cancel one order. About 4 days later I still hadn't heard back, so I tried calling a couple times and it goes straight to a voicemail. I also left a voicemail saying the same thing, and sent another email asking for help. Finally someone responded saying they had gotten it taken care of, but then a couple days later both orders arrived in the same box. I emailed back again saying I paid for and received both orders anyway and am STILL waiting to hear back... "

Excellent customer service!

"I ordered a couple of porch mats that I have ordered on Amazon in the past. Unfortunately the product was damaged. I emailed Country Porch and they responded immediately. They apologized and promised to send me replacements, which I just received! Some times people hesitate to order from sellers other than Amazon because they are not sure about the customer service. Do not hesitate. They stood completely behind their product!! "

No response from The Country Porch

"Ordered item 12 days ago. Sent email after 8 days inquiring about status - no response. Tried calling phone # listed on website - no response. Since nothing was charged to my VISA and no information as to whether item was shipped, back-ordered, or whatever, I sent another email canceling the order - no response. Unfortunately, The Country Porch now has my VISA information. Wish I had never contacted this company and definitely wish I hadn't provided them with VISA information. VERY poor customer service!"

Sliding tube mousetraps

"I recently received an order for sliding tube mousetraps I had placed under the impression I was ordering exactly what was pictured in the ad. Depicted in the ad is a box containing five individual traps. You are led to believe that you are ordering a box of mousetraps. When the package arrived and was opened, only one individual mousetrap was delivered, not the box of five shown in the ad. VERY DECEPTIVE!!!"

More than six weeks to receive?

"At the end of one week, with no notice that they were shipping my item, I emailed them, and learned they hoped to receive my item by the next week. The following Monday, I emailed them again and asked for the status of my order. The next day, I received an email from them showing that the item was expected to be available from the manufacturer in one month! This would make it six weeks from the time of placing my order, and it still had to be shipped to them in the Northwest and then shipped to me in the Southwest! There was no indication ahead of time that they did not already have the item. In fact, I thought the item was a "clearance" item. To wait more than six weeks on a kitchen curtain was too much!!! Their customer service representative was very nice to me while cancelling my order. I simply wish all websites would adopt the policy of: We have X for sale, it costs X. If they don't have the item and need to back order it, perhaps they could indicate on the item listing "item must be back ordered and could be delayed by X amount of days/weeks before shipping," as I've had this problem with another website also. Why offer an item for sale if you don't already have it? I am now being told that The Country Porch is not a merchant member of this website. However, I wish to point out that there are other reviews about them on this website."

"Ordered 7/13- 9 days later I have not yet received a charge or email indicating that my order has been packed/shipped. Email response to inquiry of order status says items will not arrive to Country Porch until 2 weeks after my order date and then shipped to me- no indication on website that items were backordered. Would not shop again."

"I had searched the internet tirelessly looking for a particular type of placemat. I discovered The Country Porch website and was very impressed with their selection. They have an incredible assortment of products. I found the very placemats I was looking for and at a great price. In fact, I couldn't find these placemats anywhere else online. I placed my order on Thursday night and received the products on Monday afternoon. That's pretty amazing since they came from Oregon to Maryland. The placemats and napkins were exactly as described and pictured on their website. Very nice quality and design. The online shopping was very easy, with detailed instructions and info, and e-mails confirming the order and the shipping information. Very well done! I will definitely be shopping here again - they have some great quilts!"
