"we bought a atanley battery center. Ised ot once for a small fan. Unit started smoking and caught fire requiring usenof fire extinguisher. Customer service was an absolute joke. Hindreds of dollars just thrown away. Beware of this company. "
"I ordered an exhaust fan with the exact model number and explained that I wanted the one that fit an 8.25 by 8.25 inch opening. Their Amazon ad stated the dimensions as 8.25 by 8.25. They sent a fan that had the same manufacturer and a similar model number that was 10.25 by 10.25 inches. I sent it back. Shipping cost me $60.00, plus they charged me a restocking fee of $53.00. So it cost me $113.00 for the wrong item that I didn't want and even though their return policy states that there wouldn't be a restocking fee if it was their fault, they refuse to refund it. I will never do business with this company again."
"Out of the box does not work. Return policy is horrible. I now own a $500 anchor"
"This site is a ripoff - advertises products that aren't available, terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY"
"PAID 319.09 FOR NG HEATER SENT ITEM BACK BECAUSE OF NO GLASS. THEY REFUNDED ME 225.19 Fee. Read there return policy I am on a fix income. How can you get away with this. Charge me 95.00 stocking fee BS"
"Worst experience ever. The Factory Depot should be banned from Amazon. I ordered from Factory Depot through Amazon 120 watt, 12 volts flexible solar, received 18 volts, tried to return it, and was asked to pay shipping cost to ship it back, thankfully Amazon rep stand in line at the post office with me for 45 minutes on the phone, and listened to the conversation at the post office about the shipping cost, Amazon refunded me the 42 dollars shipping cost ( the solar cost 117. 69) Now the Factory Depot is trying to charge me 18 dollars restocking fee. restocking fee when they send me the wrong item???? This is ridiculous. Thankfully Amazon stepped in again. "
"Purchased an item from this company through Amazon. The item never arrived and seller is refusing to replace item or refund money. Amazon is currently “investigating” my claim for a refund. I’ve wasted far too much time with this company. Terrible and unethical company selling through Amazon."
"They are a seller on Amazon, I mistakely ordered an Item from them and immediatly asked to cancel order, however they have it set up so you must fill out form and they will get back to you, they did not get back to me in time, and shipped the item anyway. Now, I asked to return item and they are making me pay for shipping! complete and utter BS! Stay away from this company doing business as an Amazon Seller The Factory Depot"
"I ordered a monitor from them through Amazon.com. I did not read their return policy, because at the time I placed the order I had no intention to cancel. Before Amazon received an update from them that the monitor had shipped, I put in a cancellation request. The next day, The Factory Depot replied that the order could not be cancelled, because it had shipped. Convenient. When the monitor arrived, I waited for approval to return. They sent me a link to a pre-printed RMA form and a return label - postage due. US to Canada. At my expense. That cost over $40. Then I got hit with an $80 re-stocking fee.
I will never, ever buy through this vendor on Amazon again."
"Ordered an expensive item and arrived damaged!! I sent them everything they needed and photos etc.
They approved return and allegedly said they will have ups pick it up but never did. no more communication
or refund?? I looked at reviews from different sites and all were very bad .
I do NOT recommend buying anything from this company!"
"Absolutely horrible seller! I ordered a computer monitor and a month later, still have not received it. Seller refuses to process refund. CRIMINAL!"
"Ordered and paid over 1 month ago..nothing"
"They got my money ,but I never got my order, why does AMAZON let them sell on their site????"
"On April 04, 2020 I purchased a 19 inch Dell Computer Monitor on Amazon.com. I paid $192.05. After I placed the order I realized it was the wrong size monitor. Unbeknown to me, I had purchased the monitor from an Amazon Vendor, Business name "THE FACTORY DEPOT" I tried to cancel the order, but was unable to, the monitor had already gone to shipping. Once I recieved the monitor I contacted Amazon. The COVID-19 Quarrantine had gone into effect. Amazon had messages on there site regarding this, and no customer service reps are taking phone calls. "THE FACTORY DEPOT" UNDER SELLER, STATED,"Most items ordered from Amazon or our Seller partners between March 1 and April 30, 2020 can now be returned until May 31, 2020." I have reached out to "The Factory Depot" via email. They are stating they need 48 hours, it is past 48 hours. THE MONITOR IS STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKING AND UNOPENED. THIS MONITOR WAS FOR EMPLOYMENT. I STILL HAD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER COMPUTER MONITOR IN THE CORRECT SIZE. I PURCHASED THE 2ND MONITOR ON AMAZON.COM. THESE ARE DIFFICULT TIMES RIGHT NOW, AND THE FACTORY DEPOT IS PROFFITING OFF OF PEOPLES MISFORTUNES. THIS MONITOR HAS BEEN IN MY POSSESSION LESS THEN A MONTH. IN DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES IT WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED BY NOW TO AMAZON. I HAVE BEEN AN AMAZON CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY WITH THIS INDUSTRY. AMAZON NEEDS TO STOP ALLOWING CORRUPT VENDERS TO SELL PRODUCTS ON THEIR PLATFORM. I WANT "THE FACTORY DEPOT" TO HONOR THE RETURN PROCESS AND GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY...$192.05"
"I ordered an Item on Amazon. I emailed them and called them several times. They finally sent me an email telling me they decided to cancel my order. When I ordered the item is was shown as in stock.
They are apparently a scam trying to get credit card numbers. I would never use them, they are also over pricing items that are available for less other places."
