"I ordered a replacement part for my Cuisinart food processor on 8/17/13. After waiting two weeks without a shipping notification, I called to inquire about the status of my order, because I hadn't received the part or even a order confirmation email. The woman told me the part had been out-of-stock but that it would ship that day, and did not have an answer for me when I asked why they didn't notify me of the delay. The website allowed me to place the order without telling me that the item was not in stock. Had the company been honest about this, I would have placed my order with another company to avoid the delay in receiving the part. I finally received the part today, 9/3/13, nearly 2 1/2 weeks after I placed my order with very poor communication from The Gourmet Depot. This was my first order with this company and probably my last."
