"Purchased a kayak online on a Saturday. I purchased through them instead of the local REI because they were advertising a slightly lower price and free shipping.

On Monday, Jon emailed me telling me to call him (didn't give me a number - why didn't he call me?). I looked up the number and called. He stated that he would not sell the kayak unless I paid $90 (I think) for shipping to a terminal 30 miles from home, or an additional $60 on top of the terminal delivery amount for shipping to my home.

Nowhere on the page for the kayak, nor during the checkout process does it mention this. It specifically says "free shipping". I told him this, and even walked through another purchase on the phone with him (stopping short of paying, of course) and confirmed that this was the case.

He still refused to honor his website, his advertising and the "word" of his business and said he would cancel the order.

It's been 6 days and the bank is still not showing a refund. I'm wondering at this point if I'll even get my money back.
