I got to try out a great lens for a couple of weeks a a fraction of the cost of a purchase and they made shipping the lens back extremely easy by providing the return label upfront. "Overall, the experience was good. Equipment arrived when it was supposed to, and worked properly. However, you need to be aware that if you order batteries, you might not be getting factory batteries. I ordered 3 spare batteries for a wedding, and received 1 factory(Canon) battery, and 2 third-party batteries. This upset me because not only are those batteries substantially less effective, I could have BOUGHT those batteries for almost the same cost as the rentals!! If the LensDepot is going to send out these lesser quality batteries, they at least need to put a disclaimer up on the website. Like I said though, the experience overall was really good, and they will get my business again. I am just glad I was not in a spot where I really needed the extra shots I would have gotten with ALL factory batteries."

"What a pleasant and refreshing experience dealing with Lens Depot was. Getting to deal with real people, the same people from year to year, and people as responsive as Magda and Oscar is a pretty unique experience. I am not a world traveling professional photographer frequently using this service.
