"Sent the wrong stuff, but it's not that big of a deal because it's almost the same anyways. Ordered the coiled cable with non-locking connector and got the straight cable with locking connector. It still works great though.

Update: They answered my question promptly - the M50 even with the locking connector will accept regular 3.5mm cables without any sort of locking screw anyways, so the order's working great and all is good. "
