"I got a couple 1oz sample packages of various THK recipes from my local pet store to try. Once I gave it to my dog as part of her breakfast for a couple of days, she started refusing to eat her old kibble (which was a high quality one!). So out I went to buy a box. We chose Embark because it was grain free even though it has eggs which can be a potential irritant for dogs like mine who have skin sensitivities. Grace has been eating Embark for about a week now for both breakfast and dinner and her fur is already softer and fluffier and her allergy feet are already less red and the yeast crud has decreased. We've tried so many things to try and help her allergies (which are technically environmental - or at least worsened by environment)...prescriptions, holistic supplements, special baths and foot soaks, kept upgrading her kibble until we got to the cleanest, organic, human-quality brands but nothing improved her skin problems like getting changed to The Honest Kitchen. I can't wait to see what other health improvements will come as she's on it a longer amount of time. My only complaint is that I ordered a box online though The Honest Kitchen (because of a good discount) and the shipping was so slow, I had to go out and buy a box from my local store anyway while I waited.
