"I stumbled upon The Honest Kitchen while researching the best possible dog food that would also fit my budget. I was interested immediately because I had never heard of dehydrated dog food before. The more I read about it, the more I liked. I quickly totaled the cost of the high-dollar dry dog food they've been eating, and I compared it with the estimated cost per day for several different kinds of food on The Honest Kitchen website. While some of the different flavors costed more than the dry food, the prices were still competitive, and the dehydrated food has much better nutrition than our old brand of dry dog food. I researched it more on other sites and read reviews, and decided to give it a try. Delivery was quick! And best of all, my 3 dogs love it. I worried about upset stomachs or loose stools by changing from dry dog food to wet. So far, everything is going great after feeding it to them twice a day for the past 4 days. I have 2 Old English Bulldogs (ages 6 & 8) and a yorkie/Pom/beagle mix (age 4 months). Aside from it taking a little more time to prepare and it being more expensive, I'm going to continue to purchase this food.

"I switched to Honest Kitchen about 6 months ago and I am amazed beyond belief at the change I've seen in Nakoa, my 12 year old Klee Kai.

Her entirely life she suffered from chronic digestive issues, which resulted in bouts of diarrhea and anorexia on a weekly basis. I tried probably 20 - 30 different formulas of kibble, as well as homemade and store-bought raw formulas. My dog is on a formula I've been tempted to eat myself and he loves it. I love that all the ingredients are human grade and so high quality---protein, veggies, fruit, etc. He does eat more healthier than I do. And he and the dog I walk go mental over the Beams.

I'm so glad you also make the cookies with the tart cherry in them. Tart cherry is so healing for people and dogs. Many dogs, such as my Lab, are susceptible to arthritis and tart cherry prevents arthritis as well as being healthy for a ton of reasons so I'm glad there is a treat with cherries that I can feed him.

Excellent customer services as well as extra products. I've contacted the company many times and every single time I'm answered right away (not put on hold, etc.) and treated extremely kindly and so helpful. They have hand written cards to me and my dog. What dog company does that?! I love them so much. I'm so glad the owner followed her dream because she's also made my dream of feeding my dog the healthiest food come true.

"I purchased some HK treats for my friends dogs before remembering they were out of town for the next week or so. I immediately contacted the company to see if they could hold off on shipping until next week, but they don't have the means to hold an order after its been placed. It's no big deal - I texted my friend to see if her neighbor could intercept the package before someone else picked it up

"I have four yellow Labrador Retrievers that have been on one of the Honest Kitchen formulas their entire life. They are healthy and happy and as they grow older they have not had the problems usually encountered as dogs age.
Labradors are known for the development of fatty lumps but not one of my four Labrardors have developed lumps and I have to think that their Honest Kitchen food has helped to prevented this condition.

"When I happened upon The Honest Kitchen many years ago, I was so impressed with their ingredients that I made it my dogs exclusive dog food for all my dogs. I love that they have so many different ingredient blends that you don't feel you're feeding the same thing over and over. I'm not sure that my dogs care about a versatile diet, but I like it. The dogs seem to love whatever I put in front of them, as long as it's The Honest Kitchen! The company has been strong now through the years so I am hoping that they do not sell and keep the quality of the dog food. It's always at the top of reviews I check.
