"No problem, dog's eyes, ear fungus, skin problems are better now. The shih tzu has lots of eye infections, plus allergies.

I did make a mistake ordering both formulas with oats in them--she won't eat anything unless it is moist and the oats dry out first!

I have to make tight little mounds on the plate. several inches apart so she can eat each mound without getting her beard all gummed up. If the mound gets short she just ends up pushing it into the plate, unable to get it in her flattened face with the short tongue.

I remoisten the mound, push the oats back in, form it in a tall mound and she eats it just fine. Dry food would be easier for a long haired, white faced dog, but all reviews indicate it is not healthy.

I do also add a sprinkle of my powdered all purpose vitamin and bits of meat, homemade chicken boullion, etc.. She is spoiled and expects the extras.

The Rottweiler is still eating the rest of the preference with hamburger cooked and added with olive oil, powdered vitamins and pre-biotics. She will eat anything so that's no recommenation! But I can easily add nutrients which are good for her bad hip. She was eating a good, costly dry food, no grains, but she still had a urinary irritation, constant licking, and now she doesn't.

That this food can be packed with oxygen absorbers and kept for emergency situations in the future is a big plus, for dry food doesn't keep indefinitely."
