"I have a 12 year old poodle who has diabetes and must be fed twice a day before I give him his insulin shot. I discovered varieties of food from The Honest Kitchen at a health food store, but they had no sample sizes so I got on line to inquire about the food. As I read about each type of food, I saw a review written by someone who also has a diabetic dog, so I decided to try "Zeal" in the sample size. When I received the order, it was time for my dog's meal and shot, so I mixed it up and fed just a little to see if he would eat it. He devoured it and could not lick the bowl clean enough, so I immediately ordered a larger size. I am very happy that he loves it and will continue to order it. On the other hand, I also have a Yorkie who did not particularly like it, but since she has no health issues, she can continue to eat her regular kibbles."
