"Since my middle dog child was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart, I've been doing all the research on lower his sodium content in dogfood. I had no idea before he was diagnosed that I could of helping the progression of his disease. Tho he has always eaten a healthy diet , of which I thought, I never thought about "sodium". Had them all (I have 3 dogs) on the raw diet for 3 weeks, they loved it but resulted in other vet visits with both the older dogs having irritable bowel syndrome and an infection in their intestines. So off the raw diet which lead me to the Honest Kitchen. It took me awhile to acclimate with the dehydrated and mixing the water, letting it sit for 3 mins but I have to say.... My dogs love it and if you're anything like me I'm conscious of their poop. Just like humans it reflects on how they're feeling. Now I'm stuck with an opened box of very expensive food that I don't want to keep giving my puppy. "
