"I ordered a desk that said it had Free Shipping. When I checked out, there were no shipping costs. The next day, when I checked my email, I had one stating that the desk was ready to ship out if I would just authorize the $50 shipping fee (or I could purchase another to receive free shipping). Since I don't need 2 desks, I canceled the order. To me, it was just a poor business practice and canceled it on principle. At a minimum, it should have stated that when ordering and also state it when checking out. To others, it may be ok to be told later that you actually do have additional costs. I don't know if it was just that item or others so beware of that.
In regards to the line that states "minimum purchase required", I DID read it and would assume that if I didn't meet the minimum, it would have included a shipping fee. On checkout for the item, it still had free shipping. For all I knew, minimum purchase was for amount, which I could have met and assumed I met. It didn't say what "minimum" meant - items, amount, etc. My point is, if there is a shipping fee, it should state it and I shouldn't have to find out after the purchase.

Every detail was covered and she also made sure that we knew if we wanted soemthing that we didn't see on the website, to make sure we asked because often times not everything available can be listed.
