"Finding the right item was very simple. Comparing to some local stores the price was already better as is, but after applying all the applicable discount codes the deal became even better. "The process of ordering was very smooth. Order confirmation was immediate. Checking order status was not intuitive. The product shipped on time from Wisconsin to Chicago, but was returned to Wisconsin the next day causing the loss of two days (could have been damaged in transit, and returned to shipper). The product arrived one day early with slight dents on the carton corners; however when unpacked, the product had suffered no damage due to the excellent packaging. Product assembly was unbelieveable. There were only 4 discrete pieces: a bottom panel, the top, a shelf and the base assembly which was 6 pieces attached with hinges. Assembly involved unfolding the base assembly, installing the bottom panel on the pegs, setting the top on the base and adjusting the base until the top dropped on to the pegs of the base assembly. It took 6 screws to attach the top and bottom panels to the base. After installing the 4 shelf brackets and placing the shelf, I was done. It took longer to unpack the pieces then it took to assemble.

I will definitely return to The Simple Store when the need arises. "

"Ordered the item on 16 November (and got e-mail confirmation). Received another e-mail on the 21st - saying the item was discontinued and they had just sold their last one.
One of two things should have happened; They should not have listed an item they did not have in stock (unless there was a caveat that specified that it was not in stock). Or, they should have answered the e-mail in a more expeditious manner so the "last one" theory would have made more sense.
This might have been an isolated incident buy my experience with them was less than ideal!
